Preston Grove Medical Centre

Simply awful. Cannot get an appointment as the online service gets closed for whole days at a time. Tried making an appointment in person and was told I couldn't and had to go online "but not today as its closed". Been trying to see someone about my mental health for weeks but either get no reply or no appointments. Ended up having to pay for a private consultation elsewhere and now still waiting for a follow up appointment to be booked here. Once you get an appointment the team are friendly and the doctors have always listened and been helpful but getting one is almost impossible

Really sorry to have to rate this 1 star as when the service used My GP it was very good. I have a chronic painful neck condition. I have struggled with this all week. On Friday tried to get an appointment with GP. Basically online closed until Monday. Rang the surgery, recorded message repeating the same message. I only ask for face to face appointments when I really need one but clearly it appears impossible to get an appointment.

I'm not available on the phone during their business hours and they refuse to make appointments over the phone when you call them, they have to call you and can't give a time when they will, so it is impossible for me to get an appointment. Extremely poor service and the doctors are usually 15 minutes late to their own appointments to boot.

Really great service & patient experience. Dr R Boyland was very flexible and dealt with my issue with compassion and consideration. Considering the pressure Primary care are under Preston Grove are really trying their best and delivering great care. Thank you.

1 star! If I could give 0 I would! Staff on desk are not helpful and rather rude! The doctor that rang me back was just as useless. Moved to this doctors from crewkerne surgery and it couldn't be more different rude,obnoxious and no help at all, more interested in getting me to go online send this link like if I was a elderly person how would they expect them to send pictures through links ect' going to the local government ombudsman because this place is horrific

Saw Dr. Sarah Moor this evening, was thorough and patient, was reassuring and explained everything.
Knowing my recent loss, she made sure l was coping, and listened to me, with no sign of hurrying me through my appointment.

About time this practice got the praise it deserves. With other local practices managing as low as 28% face to face appointments Preston Grove managed 100% at possibly the most trying times to provide medical services.

We moved to Somerset from London and found a GP Practice that is modern and IT literate. It is easy to use the Online Consult and leaves space for the less IT savvy to call and make appointments with a receptionist. The GP's are very responsive and efficient. The pharmacist is very helpful. Thank you for your hard-work.
