Needed some help to get a document for my daughters passport application. Amy was super helpful and went above and beyond to sort it for me really quickly. Excellent service. So grateful. Thank you Amy A+++++ ✨

I have the utmost respect and admiration for every single member of this surgery. Since we moved here from London 12 years ago, my health has declined, but I'm so happy to be here. If I was ill in London now, I fear I wouldn't have survived. So we will always support Penhill surgery, even if we argue sometimes, family argue and we never feel that things can't be resolved because you are all very caring.

I have been happy to be there. The personal is available and competent as much as extremely busy. The doctor has been very nice and accurate. The ladies on the reception have been very professional. I can remember the nurse E. Law I met for blood test, she has been just amazing.
As soon as you are in side the Surgery you will be fine... the problem would be the system as before you get in you need to feel very bad😅

Unable to get an appointment unless going through Ask my GP.
Categorically told I cannot have an appointment even though I’m on the phone speaking to them. Log onto the Ask My Gp site, which states, if it is genuinely urgent, phone the surgery. Not once did the receptionist ask this or what the nature of my enquiry is.
I am also unable to access emails during the small window of 0830-0930 if you’re lucky, due to the nature of my work. We don’t all sit in front of a screen all day.
I never visit a doctor, not from one year to the next and then the one time I genuinely need to, they do their very best to get rid of you. I hear how bad it is to get an appointment, now I see why. No wonder A and E is so busy, they’re doing your jobs. You must be very proud, I’d be embarrassed to say I work there.

This has to be the poorest operating surgery in the country. And the receptionist Angela is the most awful person and most definitely should not be in her job. I called with a potentially serious problem within the stated hours and was fobbed off as per usual with use the "ask my gp service" all appointments are taken and call back another day between 8 30 and 9 30. It was 8 50 . So we'll within time. . I

The telephone system is appalling, how about a live messaging service for general enquiries, test results etc? This would free up the phone lines for genuinely urgent medical cases.

Most of the time the app is down or closed too early or part way through a request, and 9 times out of 10 the receptionists are very unhelpful and some are even unfriendly and rude and claim it's been working all week! They turn nice when 111 makes them give me an appointment though, just ridiculous that 111 end up being their receptionists or sending me to a&e to get seen!
And despite that being the case last week, today the app hasn't been turned on at all and the lines keep saying busy and when I finally got in a queue, after 7 mins on hold and 6th in line the phone cut off and won't let me connect again!!!
My recommendation is to stay clear of this surgery if you have a choice

My partner is registered with this practice and is really trying to seek help when calling he gets pushed off to a different service and has never met his doctor in the whole time of being at this practice he is on some very high meds and would need a medicine review every 6 months but has not had one.
