We have been with this practice for about 60 years family off four,we always had trouble getting through then getting passed the receptionists some were ok but there was some that were very rude and not helpful.
Then we sold our house and had to move out the area to live with my daughter till we got another house in the area,I must say THEY were not very helpful at al,we explained the situation but again couldn’t get passed receptionists there was no compassion at all my wife is just recovering from breast cancer,my wife wrote a letter to Dr fryer this was in beginning off February we still have not had a reply.
We have registered with another practice and WOW what a difference all very helpful just wish we could have moved years ago.

Reception staff need a course on manners and diplomacy, its a battle to get an appointment every time, if you can get a word in. Was told to make a seperate appointment for each ailment, and these would be phone calls at no specific time? Shocking practise even with covid restrictions gone now.

I am hugely grateful to Richard and Kerry who stayed late this evening to help me with changing my name on the NHS system and retrieving a Covid pass before my holiday next week.
Richard was hugely caring and generous by wasting his Friday night helping me - I can't thank him more for his efforts to protect my holiday! I would give more than 5 stars if possible.

The care I’ve received from all the staff at Heath Lane has been amazing. Reception staff are great making appointments and nurses and nurse practitioners are very caring. Times are hard working in the NHS but they always try their best to help. I’ve had a lot of appointments over the past few weeks due to needing regular dressing changes. I cannot fault them. Thank you to all of you.

Time wasters, booked in for 2 appointments and one of the people wasn't even at the surgery for the time, waited 40 mins still not seen, despite being told I was next 20 or so minutes earlier, then several people where seen before me. Very poor service and organisation

My first use of the new Enhanced Hours service worked perfectly when our elderly neighbour needed medical attention late on Monday afternoon. My wife rang the practice, sent a photo of the problem and received a call back within the hour. Appropriate medication prescribed and collected from pharmacy next morning.
Courteous and professional service by all involved.

Employees who answer the phone are on the whole helpful and direct you well. The nurses and doctors have always been lovely and supportive. I don't regularly attend but have never struggled to get an appointment for my daughter or I, same day or otherwise. Use of phone appointments is also good and the pharmacy on site is great.
