Pennant Surgery

Good location in town. Sloped entrance for wheelchair users. Very little parking (but there is pay and display next to it). Accessible clean loo. Main problem is trying to get an appointment...It's like playing the lottery trying to get through. I think there is one doctor which is simply not enough. I cannot speak highly enough of nurse there who is so calming and approachable, especially with regards to smear tests and such like. They do have a prescribing nurse who is wonderful. The doctor is less personable. I've had loads of issues waiting for repeat prescriptions to arrive at the local pharmacy on time which has resulted in me missing medication at times. Seriously thinking of moving to another practice.

Im writing this review as although I understand the complaints in the other reviews my previous practice was far worse, Dr Harrikumar was incredible when i had covid and suspected clot he got me straight to hospital where it was discovered I had pluerisy not a clot thank god. I have only had a few appointments here but I have found them to be lovely and each time they have fit me in as soon as they could and have been caring and supportive, thought it was time somebody said this! They deserve their 5 stars from me and as said the previous practice I was with for years pale in comparison to the care I have recieved here

Understandably waiting outside due to covid restrictions, but during the winter and with a 8 week old baby out in the cold needs to be reassessed. Already 10mins past his appointment time.

Absolutely incompitant staff! Been ringing for 3 weeks to the n turn get a phone call back to in turn get an appointment! Took the morning off work as they said they would ring in the morning and they Rang in the afternoon! THE PLACE IS A JOKE!
