Tudor Gate Surgery

This surgery is fantastic. I had moved to the Abergavenny area and Tudor Gate was recommended to me. I have found that the GPs listen and are truly helpful. I very recently needed a lot of help and my treatment has been superb. The nurses have been kind and supportive. The reception staff always courteous and quick to offer appointments when telephoned on the day to book.

Most unhelpful receptionist ever I’ve just gotten off the phone asking for a doctor to call back.. saying “if you want a doctors apt you need to call before 10” I said I’d tried since 8 and it either says busy or rings out and then she says “well our lines and system is down at the moment you’ll have to call back in half an hour or so and ask for a nurse not a doctor if it’s your ears”. Baring in mind I’ve had no sleep because I am ill her attitude is the last thing I needed today! Will be looking to move to a surgery that answers the phone and isn’t rude from now on!

Fabulous, every one is friendly and very helpful. They have looked after all 5 generations of my family. That's how they make me feel like I'm part of a family. Dr. Monica Chidgey is one of a kind. She goes above and beyond to help. All other Gp's are really kind and helpful if I have to see some one else. 5* are not enough for Tudor gate staff. Well done all of you for looking after me and mine for the last 40 yrs +. 😊😊

Brilliant surgery with wonderful GP's & nurses. Very professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind, considerate & empathetic practice. Reception staff always very polite and willing to help and the prescribing team being fantastic. Would highly recommend this practice!

Called this afternoon a little worried about a health issue and was advised by the Dr to do so but the receptionist spoke to me like something she scraped off her shoe. Disgusting attitude

You have to wait outside in all weathers this past year , No seating outside for the Infirm to sit down while waiting in the Cold. Staff inside are Blunt and Rude, I can’t abide that. So Changed to Old Station Surgery where your allowed to wait inside and staff are friendly and Polite. Please take some good advice and stay clear .

Standing outside in the rain no one in the surgery except 3 receptionists. I'm a nurse and we open up the hospital for visitors next week. Cant believe this practice is allowed to carry on. What if i were elderly or infirm? No seating. Its pouring down. Behind the times as far as covid goes.

2021, 8months of surgery, chemo, radiotherapy plus Emergency admission. Brilliant support from everyone despite working under pandemic conditions. Thank you. 🤗
