One of the receptionists is very abrupt and comes across as quite rude. Doctors are a bit of a mixed bag. Dr Bowdler is fantastic. There is another Dr who isn't so good.

My starts are not for the Doctors but the receptionist I just spoke to, he really couldn't be bother and told me to go see a chemist instead. booked an appointment today (11/03/2019), earliest they can fit me in? 29th March, suppose I'll just have to keep taking the wife's co-codemol until then.

I've been a patient at Overton for nearly 30 years and once it was a really good practice. Sadly I cannot say the same today. Ignore the one star I have given, I wouldn't give this place any stars at all but I couldn't leave a review without giving it one star
I feel the place has been going downhill for a long time, and since the covid scamdemic, it's not only gone downhill, it's sunk in the mud. The place isn't welcoming or friendly in any way shape or form, and you're made to feel more of a nuisance than a patient.
Trying to get to see a doctor is no easy task, having to ring in the morning for an appointment is an ordeal as it is so hard to get through and you get cut off because of the volume of calls, if you eventually do get through you are interogated by the receptionists to see if you are worthy of an appointment. I think getting an audience with the Pope would be easier to be honest.
You never get to see the same doctor and get fobbed off with phone appointments, trainees or locums most of the time. My last couple of appointments were with Dr Fallows, and all I can say is I wasn't very happy. She doesn't seem to listen or have much empathy, In fact she is rather cold and distant and makes you feel like you're wasting her time. Well, she actually wasted mine.
I decided I no longer want to be a patient here, they are calling themselves Dee Valley Medical Practice, but a change of name isn't going to improve the place in my opinion
I have moved to another doctors practice now, as I just don't want to go to Overton any more and I have had a much better experience with my new doctors than this place

We have been patients of this practice for over 50 years; the care and attention that we have received has been absolutely first class. We have always been able to get in person or telephone consultations whenever needed, and the staff have taken a personal interest in our welfare. The doctors are knowledgeable and thorough, without being alarmist or over the top. They have always prioritised urgent concerns and arranged treatment promptly. The nursing staff are fantastic, dealing sympathetically and competently with the matters within their remit. The efficiency of the recent vaccine rollout was impressive. I must also thank the reception staff, she always listen carefully to our worries and direct us to a triage nurse for advice. In particular, we are very grateful to the amazing staff in Bangor on Dee, who could not have been more helpful in assisting my very elderly mother in law, and my husband, during cancer treatment. We cannot thank the practice enough for the unfailingly excellent care that they have given us and all our family for so many years and across the generations, from newborn to old age.

I've had mixed experiences here to be honest. At the latest appointment, I felt the doctor was being very dismissive, and basically told me to go private! I am with BUPA through husband's work, but I've heard that if you go private then need medication, the NHS could possibly refuse to fund it. This scares me and now I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. I've just tried to call for an appointment for women's health clinic, but have been told it could be mid December or January before I get to see someone! The nurse is sadly off sick, but i wasnt given a possible alternative or asked if urgent or worrying. I don't really know what to do now. I'm struggling with health but just can't seem to get anyone to listen. The NHS is such a fantastic resource, it's such a shame what the government has done to it.

Phone lines always ring through to answer machine. Very limited doctors on . Always only one in practice or emergency only . Email address doesn’t work with many email providers . Never had anything resolved at this practice .

Total disgrace how the secretary answered the phone and spoke to me with a real attitude, requested documents to be released and she blamed Covid why its taken 6 weeks to send a simple documents. Unprofessional, unfriendly and rude, we all have to work in Covid, you are no exception to the rule and it doesn't not take 6 weeks to send documents, when you have chased them and reminded them weekly
