Nicholl Street Medical Centre

Having moved from Cardiff to Swansea a couple of years ago I have found this surgery very helpful. It does take a while to get through in the mornings but they are very accommodating once you speak to someone. The reception team are by far the best I've experienced and always try to get me seen that day.
I've seen 3 doctors at the surgery and they are all very good at listing to what I'm saying and following up with a course of action.
They may not be perfect but they certainly do their best under the pressures imposed on them. When I move away from the area I hope I have a surgery as good as these.

Doctors very good unfortunately receptionists leave a lot to desire especially on the phone.

I have been a patient at this practice since birth (71years) and my parents before me, and can

honestly say I have never had cause to complain about the service or care received by myself
or my wife. Things have changed over the years e.g. appointment systems but I put that Down to a gradually expanding practice which has gone from 2 GPS and no receptionists to 3 GPs and a number of receptionists and office administration staff.

No one answers the phone really stressful

Just moved here from London recently, went to register with this gp and when I saw how reception older lady spoke to patient I walked out .. how people
Like this can even be employed . She was rude and had unhelpful attitude what a shame

We are leaving this surgery because of the receptionists. They're rude and very unhelpful when obviously you're not very well The doctors are good but you just can't get to see them. Also don't bother doing askmygp as I did and had one of the rude receptionist do the call back. Not askmygp it's askthe receptionist... Very very poor service, glad to be leaving so won't have to be made to feel small by those women any more. Receptionists you are!!! Not God. It's nice to be nice especially when your job is dealing with ill people

It’s shocking the waiting times you got to wait for a call back from the doctor we phoned at 8am then they called back at 17.55. I wounder why most people go to the hospital because it’s a lot easier and less time?

I have been with this surgery for 45 years and I have to say they have always been brilliant, the staff are second to none.
