Monica is fantastic! Unfortunately, my dress did not fit during our first fitting. The back of my dress was an intricate mix of keyholes and netting - not an easy back to alter. The work Monica did was amazing, the back looked better than before! She also made me feel extremely comfortable and I could really tell she cared about my wedding, my dress and doing a good job.

A few days before the wedding, I fell over and had massive bruising on my upper arm. I was so upset and worried about the bruise. We contacted Monica and she slotted me in the next day (2 days before the wedding) and then worked into the evening adding small straps either side to cover the bruise. They looked like they’d always been there. She is a true star and I cannot thank her enough.

I had a small alteration to an evening dress that needed doing. It was done very promptly and at a reasonable price. I was very impressed. I would definitely go there again.

Monica is such a lovely and welcoming lady. I could tell she was experienced, professional and most of all trustworthy! I definitely recommend going here for all your alteration needs. (I had 2 wedding dresses because I couldn't decide, and one of them she hand stitched special material to it making my imagined dress a reality!)

My wife had her wedding dress altered by Monica and could not speak more highly of the experience. The dress arrived later than anticipated so there were only a few weeks for all the alterations to be completed. Not only did Monica complete the whole (long!) list of changes my wife wanted but she also advised on other changes to improve the dress further. The service and quality of work was outstanding, we could not recommend more highly!

Alterations made:
- length shortened and done in a way that enabled 4" heels to be worn for the day and flats for dancing
- waistline changed so that silhouette was empire
- bustle added (5 needed to keep silhouette and pin up all the layers)
- additional lace hand sewn onto the bodice
- neckline tightened to ensure it would lie flat
All of the above was completed in under 2 weeks.
