Sam was extremely professional and I had a great experience. He tailored a jacket for me and also adjusted a red dress for free, and did a super job😁 Price was good and done in a timely manner, would recommend 100%

My tailor for my wedding dress had let me down 7 weeks before the wedding , so I contacted these guys and Sam was amazing , altered my dress in time for a fitting to make sure fitted ok . the workmanship was excellent and cannot fault . Also had a last minute bridesmaid dress to alter and it was done perfect and in plenty of time . 5 stars : )

I took in a bridesmaid dress which needed to be altered urgently for a wedding this weekend (cut and hem). We took the dress to Sam, who was really friendly and professional and he managed to finish it for me within five days, including the weekend and a bank holiday. The dress was a tricky length and material and Sam did a wonderful job. The tailoring is beautifully done and I am so thankful for his high-quality and efficient work. I would recommend Sam’s services in a heartbeat and will be taking more clothes to him!! Thank you again Sam 😊

I recently pulled an old and beloved winter coat out of the cupboard to find a massive rip along multiple seams below the left arm. It amounted to a gaping hole. This is a thick leather coat with a thick fleece lining. I've had it for 25 years and it wasn't new when I got it. The rip looked horrible, something I had no chance of repairing myself so I Googled local leather repairs and Bushey Tailoring came up. It turned out to be really local so I took it to Sam and he said he could do the job using a thick leather patch. He said it would take two weeks but four days later I got a text saying it was ready.

When I inspected the work, I actually couldn't find the original tears and Sam showed me the neat, discreet patch he'd inserted to save the section becoming too tight to wear. The work was incredible. Sam demonstrated how strong the seams were so that the same thing couldn't happen again.

I'm so impressed with the speed and quality of the work and would recommend Sam to anyone wanting a repair. I feel the shopfront could do with a little TLC to give it a bit more 'kerb appeal' but honestly, that part of Bushey Arches wouldn't get a lot of passing foot trade anyway.

Sam is open until 6.30pm every evening, even Saturdays, so it's really easy to fit in a visit around work schedules. I'll certainly be using this business again.

So disappointed with the quality of stitching on my patches. I was charged double the £4 per patch rate with the explanation that it was more work to remove the jacket lining rather than stitch over the lining. I agreed and paid. They stitched through the lining anyway. The work was done late and I had to make several visits and phone calls to ensure I got it in time. This was for a gift and I wanted it done in time. I wish I'd got it done somewhere else and given the gift late. Bottom line, if you value high quality stitching, find somewhere else.
