Bullies work here!!

My grandmother was a regular customer here as she felt she owed it to supporting the local business. Recently, the staff have been incredibly nasty to our family (although they do not know we are all related).
My auntie came in to enquire about a price of dry cleaning, she was told ‘I don’t know and the owners not here so I don’t know what you want me to do’.
Similarly on another occasion the women were nothing but unhelpful to my grandfather.
My grandmother came in with myself on a separate occasion. She was enquiring about the price of a machine, and in comes in another woman and puts her stuff in the machine which my Nan was asking about to the member staff. The member of staff did not intervene, but when my Nan then questioned it, the woman putting her stuff into the machine said ‘I work here and I booked it in advance’. My Nan then questioned how to pre-book machines and lo and behold it was all a lie! The pair of them were so rude to my nan, they kept lying and I had to step in to stand up for her it was so bad. It turned into a row, because we were so shocked of the rudeness, and I do not understand how in a working environment the staff kept going and going at us.

I’ve worked in a small business before and I couldn’t IMAGINE talking to a customer that way, let alone an elderly woman!
To top it off when my Nan came to pick up her washing half an hour later, the staff were changing up money for other customers despite them telling us we needed to ‘go across the road for change’ as they had none. So I don’t know whether the staff are just rude, or they just don’t like our kind of people (black people).

I have never been so upset and disgusted, it’s a shame too, as in a small community you want to do your best to help small businesses.

I use Liberty dry cleaners for all my clothes. I have recently used them to take the hem up on an evening dress and I am absolutely over the moon with it. Thank you so much Kim to you and your team. A brilliant job. I will definitely be back with more repairs with my dry cleaning!

My favourite cleaners, the girls here go above and beyond. They do such a good job with their cleaning and customer service. Wish all places I went had this level of service, Thank You ladies. You will always have my custom and appreciation.
