Staff are very kind and helpful. Very good rates and provided an excellent dry cleaning service. They even spotted all the stains and removed them. Very pleased customer :)

Finally, a dry cleaners that I can trust! Kind, honest owners who talk straight and take a lot of care. They had my sheepskin coat dry cleaned. It came back immaculate, no old smell left, no new smell added. This was a specialist job.

Been using this company for several years now, for a variety of services - dry cleaning, alterations, making bolsters, etc. Attention to detail is good. Prices are very reasonable, and staff are very friendly.

Took two designer dresses and my partner’s suit to be dry cleaned. The dresses had only been worn once before. In summary, I had an awful experience with the clothes feeling dirtier on collection than arrival, and a very unpleasant shop manager.

On arrival, one of the dresses was dropped on the floor by the shop assistant. When prompted that it was on the floor he said “I know. It will be fine”.

On collection, both the dresses and the suit were packaged in plastic. When we got them home 10 minutes later, we immediately noticed all the items smelt really unpleasant. They didn’t smell fresh or clean but rather like farm yards and dirty socks. The fabric of one of the dresses had been damaged all across the dress, looking so thin in parts that it could fray into holes.

I returned to the dry cleaner with the items. I asked the shopkeeper for an explanation and refund. He insisted on smelling the dresses and wiped his dirty nose across one of them. He admitted the items smelt “damp” but tried to accuse me of causing this. He told me to smell other peoples’ clothes, which I felt was most unprofessional and unhygienic. He refused to accept any liability for the state of my clothes or to provide any explanation. He just continued to accuse me of the smell being my fault. He then got angry when I said the item was damaged. He told me I couldn’t make two complaints and that he “knew my tactics”. He accused me of “blackmail” when all I wanted was to have my items of clothing professionally cleaned.

I left feeling very upset and with no resolution or explanation for what happened to my clothes, and no refund.

I wouldn’t leave any items of clothing that you care about with this dry cleaner. I probably would have been better to try washing my items myself at home, as they are now completely unwearable.

I will be raising my complaint with the citizens advice bureau/ relevant ombudsman, due to lack of resolution with the shop itself.

I cannot praise Blue Bell Cleaners and tailors highly enough. I have a favourite jacket that needed repair but because it was worn on the sleeve it needed high quality tailoring skill to sow braiding. I am extremely pleased and cannot praise Blue Bell team highly enough. Thank you guys for a job well done.

Excellent Service. Brought in a pair of beige linen trousers with red wine stains. I was warned that it might be difficult removing the stains, but no problems, they came back looking like new.
