Most horrible service anyone can imagine of...

Initially got a wrong quote for curtain dry cleaning because the laundry only measured the dimensions of one curtain and applied the same rate to 6 curtains. However, four of those curtains were much smaller (almost half the size). After repeated visits to the shop and every time receiving a different calculation for the money that was charged, I took the curtains back to the shop with a measuring tape. After showing that all curtains were not the same size - the laundry invented a new reason that the material of the curtains were different and hence the charge.

After about six visits to the shop, they finally agreed to refund £20 (from the original bill of £150). In the process, I was accidentally charged £20 more instead of the refund. Then the shop refunded £40.

The refund of £40 was processed on 17-Oct-2016 has not been credited to my account till this date (28-Nov-2016). I have chased the laundry multiple times for the refund (at least 6-8 times). I think the only option that remains now is to report this extremely poor customer service in some legal forum (any suggestions are welcome...).

Great place, the staff are very friendly and the service is always very thorough. It's the only place I use so I'm not the best person to ask about pricing but I do think it's a little on the expensive side. That said, you do pay for what get and the service is excellent. They also do tailoring and cobblering.

Con artists! Make up the prices for whatever they think they can get away with. My wife handed in two suits and without checking the material they added on a much higher surcharge. Tried to say it's because of the fabric when they didn't check it in the first place. The person I spoke to, Wajahid, was very dismissive and an smirk on his face when I tried to explain my point of view. Looks like hes left him self a 5 star review on his own place of work, which is quite deceiving to the general public.

WORST LAUNDERETTE EVER! AVOID!!!!!!!
The worst dry cleaners I have ever experienced. The man with the eye ailment had no manners and was very rude and disrepsectful when confronted about the poor cleaning job they had done. My £1500 Canado Goose Coat was damaged and stained due to careless workers. The clothes come dirtier than when was handed to them. They do not accept complaints or criticism. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!

Sent an dress in for a simple alternation. Hem was not level and they used black thread on an orange dress. Not impressed and would not recommend .

I gave in two things to be altered, only one was altered. When I went back to tell them the other item had not been done, they didn’t believe me even though it was genuine, and therefore implied I was lying. Awful customer service, need to learn basic skills like not calling your customer a liar.

When they actually did the work, there was no acknowledgement of their mistake, no apology for making me coming in again. Terrible manners.

The job was not done well, the hemming of the trousers came undone throughout the evening. I haven’t bothered going back as I don’t want to be accused of being a liar and it’s not worth the time or effort.

All in all an expensive waste of time and awful manners and customer service received.

Last week I urgently needed a suit dry-cleaned. Top Hat was able to do this at very short notice and they turned it around in less than 12 hours. I gave them the suit on Friday afternoon and picked it up on Saturday morning. It was spotless, and perfectly pressed.

I cannot recommend them highly enough - great quality service, and a very reasonable price. The fellow behind the counter (whose name I did not catch, unfortunately) was also very professional and friendly.

I will definitely be using this business again.
