American Dry Cleaning Company

The cleaners provided me with a bad service: They ruined a new 200£ item with two huge white stains and only offered to refund me 75£.
I am posting this comment because I would have been happy if someone had left a comment on Google maps avoiding me to ruin my cloths.
The only positive thing is the people working at the shop

Decided to try them as they were close by. Specifically asked for my shirts to be dry cleaned with extra care; shirts came back shrunk as they were washed; I also asked them for a price list, which they did not provide; expensive service, more than 5 star hotels and service provided was way below expectations.
I would definitely avoid this store.

I miss the old staff. I have been going to them for years, but they changed the people. The man who served me was so arrogant and even lied about what my husband supposedly said about how I wanted tailoring to be done. This is also the second time the new staff messed up tailoring, and the same man who lied refused to apologise both times and said it was our fault for not being clear with instructions. So much for customer service.

Richard (the manager of this franchise) was incredibly helpful. He went over and above in terms of customer service. We were tourists staying in the area and he managed to have our clothes cleaned and arranged to get them back to us despite the incredibly tight deadline we had before we left. Nothing was too much trouble and the clothes themselves were returned in pristine condition. Many thanks from some grateful travellers

Terrible and expensive. I paid £48 for a premium clean on my three piece suit. To be ready in 48 hours. I went on collection day and they only had 2 of the 3 pieces and said the other piece was lost in their warehouse. They then found the waistcoat however they had broken every single button on it from pressing it. £48!!!!!

Very bad service. Took a long time and my coat was not cleaned at all, it came back exactly the same. Not cleaned at all and both staff insisted saying it was cleaned. They refused to refund my money. More expensive than 2 more shops on the same road. Extremely desapointed with the service. I crossed the road and paid again to have my coat cleaned in VIP Dry Cleaners which did an amazing job and I got my coat cleaned looking like new just the next day for 4 pounds less than the price I was asked to pay in this rubbish company . I just left this place with the police since they refused to return my money I paid for dry cleaning my coat. Left my coat last week and when this Wednesday 27/01/2021 I went to collect the coat, it was exactly the same so has not been cleaned. They offered me to reclean after many times both employees said it looked cleaned. I refused also for the fact that they would need 4 days to clean the coat. I crossed the road went to Vip Dry Cleaning and asked the lady he opinion, she charged less and said next day service. got my coat and literally it is looking like new. They did a fantastic job ( Vip Dry Cleaning ) I went back to try to get my money back with the coat as proof and still they said they would have to go throw procedure to resend to be recleaned. How? After the coat was then cleaned ? What a joke. I will make sure I will tell who ever tries to enter this shop what happened to me. Very bad service and plus the lady from VIP said that she receives lots of complains

The most worse company ever , never go there if you want to have all your clothes safe . Some of my clothes they just damaged and never take any responsibility of what they did . And the finally they lost one of my wife blazers cost over £1000 and didn’t finding and end of the day the customer service department try to close that case and offer me £200 instead of £1000

So be aware of this company and never use American Dry Cleaners ever .
