Hanwell Dry Cleaners

Used them to dry clean sofa covers. Told me it would take 6 days... Not sure if that is normal but felt long. Guy in there was friendly. They also do key cutting.

It was an emergency and I desperately needed 2,shirts doing same day and didn't have time to go anywhere else. The service was surly and abrupt when I dropped shirts off and the guy to ages to find them when I came to collect. All for the sum of £5......per shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked to see his price list but he didn't have one. In the morning when I dropped off he told me if I collected next day then it would be £4. In the evening when I asked again he said same or next day was £5 but after 3/4days £2. Think he makes prices up as he goes along. Am all for supporting local businesses and I did agree to pay as was in desperate situation and short on time but would never use them again and will discourage others from using them. Rip off merchants!

Sadly can't suggest anyone take their business here. I had taken in a two piece suit to be dry cleaned. I arrived to pick up my suit and the price was more, when I asked why I was told that a tie was found in the suit pocket (which I had no idea was there and was not part of the agreed initial price and order). Any normal person would say that the tie was found, but not part of the original order so it's returned as it was found. So for this reason alone I would not return!

I have been taking my dresses and other items to this dry cleaners for a number of years. The service is excellent as are the prices. There is tremendous care taken to look after your clothing items. You will get good advice about they can and cannot do. Highly recommended.

I took 5 t-shirts to remove stains and days later when I went to get the t-shirts they still had the same stains and I had to pay a lot for the service that wasn't even done. and also the store owner is rude.

They do a capable enough job of dry cleaning and minor alterations, but you're often waiting a long time for anyone to pay attention to you and I've elected to start going elsewhere since the owner has been rude to me several times, including commenting on my weight. I've also had him suddenly try for more money when I'm picking things up. I'm going to take my business to the drycleaners on Greenford Avenue, who are always lovely.

OK but another instance of 'flexible' pricing.
Trying it on with my other half to add £5 to the price of a pre-agreed £20 clean, only to say "don't worry about it" when challenged back (based on the reviews here).

Mr Hanwell Dry Cleaner, you're not helping yourself by trying it on with opportunistic pricing.
