I use masterclean on regular basis for my drycleaning tailoring and the trainers cleaning.
Highly recommended.
EDIT: Owner initially responded to my review that I’m supposedly referring to a different establishment (not sure why they said that given how my review was worded). Clarifying that my experience was at Master Dry Cleaners near South Hampstead station. I never left a review for Berner Street (I’m not even sure what that is)
Adding more details: my item was not only ruined, but it also took them a while to do it. No compensation or apology given. Terrible experience, won’t be going back
I'm really unhappy. This company COMPLETELY DESTROYED the faux fur from my jacket and is EVADING RESPONSIBILITY and AVOIDING CONTACT.
I have written a complaint expressing that the item given to them has been returned to me not in the same condition that it was given, clearly breaching The Consumer Rights Act 2015. I made them aware that they have shortened the life expectancy of my jacket, and damaged it as the faux fur is not only matted but not following its original shape that it previously was.
To mediate the situation they have given me the “OPTION” to pay £170 + VAT to run a dry cleaning fault expert analysis to find out whether it was their mistake. They have mentioned that if the damage was to be caused by their company, they would reimburse the full testing cost. However, they have neither clarified nor explained whether they would reimburse me for the damages of the jacket. I HAVE ASKED THIS ON THE 5TH OF MAY AND I HAVE BEEN IGNORED. I RESENT THE SAME LETTER 3 WEEKS LATER AND THEY DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE MY QUESTIONS.
They deemed this mistake to be a manufacturing fault, and I HAVE ASKED THIS WRITTEN IN AN OFFICIAL HEADED LETTER , BUT THEY DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT EITHER.
As soon as I mentioned that I have been in touch with “GUESS”, the supplier of my jacket, and that GUESS was more than happy to cooperate with any ongoing investigation into the matter, I HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM AGAIN.
I HAVE ASKED IF THEY WERE A MEMBER OF ANY TRADING ASSOCIATIONS/ ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION SCHEMES TO MEDIATE THE SITUATION - NO RESPONSE
THEY DID NOT USE REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL WHEN THEY CARRIED THIS WORK. THE LAW SAYS THAT WHEN IN BREACH OF THIS ACT, THE CUSTOMER IS ENTITLED TO A REFUND.
THEY HAVE SIGNED ALL THE LETTERS SENT TO ME WITH UNREADABLE SIGNATURES AND I HAVE REQUESTED AN ACTUAL NAME FOR ALL FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS, AS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO I AM IN CORRESPONDENCE WITH - NO RESPONSE.
You left me with no other option, but to take further action.
This company is a scam!! They scammed me into leaving my blinds with them and they refused to give me a price for over 24hours meaning that I no longer had time to take them to the place I initially wanted to take them too.
I let them clean my blinds, but upon hanging them I realised they were damaged and no clean! I took photos and sent them to them and no one even got back to me. I had to chase them to acknowledge my complaint. They then proceeded to say that I damaged my own blinds!! Like come on!!
They were very rude and basically tried to brush me off. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!!
