Dry Cleaning by Dappers & Launderette

My washing machine broke down so found the launderette through necessity! However, what a lovely experience - the lady who owns it was so helpful - she has change if you need it and advised me which machine to use. It's been a while since I went to a launderette.

Positives are that because the washing machines are commercial ones, the wash takes only 20 minutes AND you can get more in than your normal one at home. These machines are £4 (4 x £1 coins) and there are also bigger ones for £6.

The owner said some people come and do their post holiday washes as you can get everything done so quickly! I may well do that as much nicer experience than I was expecting - so fast and easy.

I highly recommend Dry Cleaning by Dappers. I had 2 rather dirty and stained rugs cleaned and they did a good job restoring them to a decent state. I also had 3 duvets cleaned. The cost was good value and the service excellent; both Jay and Dee were very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely use them again. They also offer pick up and return of items but I did not need that as I live close by. Thanks again!

Excellent care and service cleaning my Mums precious wedding dress from 1960. I was expecting it to disintegrate but it has been brought back like new from being in a loft in a plastic bag for the last 60 years. Special packaging to keep it safe as well.

This was my first time at a dry cleaners and ive had a great experience. The machines are very easy to use, 7 x £1coins for the larger one and 5 x £1 coins for the smaller ones, just remember to bring you tables or washing powder. There are also dryers here for £1 for 5 min. The lady behind the counter was very helpful as well.

A good atmosphere and table service. The food was good and hot. Difficult to understand the table staff but only because they spoke through masks in a slightly noisy (but not offputting) room.
