Went to that Drycleaner to let them sew a hole in my trousers. Though it wasn't super tiny I thought it can't be that expensive. Didn't understand a word the guy was saying, horrible English and writing on the note, that he gave me to pick it up later.
TWELVE pounds then. Couldn't believe it, he was not even showing the result. When I was asking for it, he showed me a totally different part of the trousers that had been sewn a long time ago. Would not recommend anyone to go there...

Shockingly bad customer service & quality of work. The 1st time I used them, to get a coat dry cleaned to wear for an interview, I went to pick up my coat the day after they said it would be ready. And it still wasnt ready for collection. Had to go back 2 days later and suggested they should reduce the cost of the cleaning. After 10 minutes of arguing, the man in the shop reluctantly agreed to reduce the cost by £1.

Despite my better judgment, I used them for a 2nd time, to get a blazer cleaned, again to wear to an interview. When I came to wear the blazer I noticed a button had been torn off during the cleaning. I took the blazer back to the shop, along with a spare button, and asked if they would be able to sew the spare button on. Despite having damaged the blazer, the man in the shop insisted that he'd have to charge me £2 to sew the button on.

The man in the shop has no concept of customer service and judging from comments seen elsewhere this appears to be far from an isolated incident. Avoid at all costs.

Zip changed and lasted for 2 weeks. Went back to complain, they suddenly gone aggressive telling me is not their fault the zip is bad quality, no money will be repaid, etc... Time to look for a new dry cleaner. Shame there is no public voting system to vote out bad local businesses while really nice people are queuing to get a small shop in the area. Pathetic.

They ruined a newly bought ggod quality Cos dress, owner told me they could take no responsibility for damage to clothes and that he didn't care if I didn't use their service again because he has "thousands of customers" Shockingly rude and REALLY EXPENSIVE at £11 per dress for dry cleaning

Have used these guys since November 2016 for mainly suits and the odd item. Good quality service and £11 a go doesn't break the bank. They're always very friendly and clothes have always been ready for collection. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going there for years - unfailingly polite and willing to help, never had a reason to complain about their service, a valuable local institution.

I have been using dulwich dry cleaners for around 3 years. Service is excellent and quick. They have helped me on a few occasions when I’ve needed things quickly and have always delivered on time. I am posting this review today as I have just picked up a thermal hoodie that I took in on Tuesday to have the sleeves shortened on. I can’t believe how perfect the sleeves are, the stitching is actually better now than previously. Thank you Mr Cleaner for a great service and for having it ready for me today as promised. I have a windy weekend coming up on the coast so will be toasty warm. See you soon.

Wouldn’t recommend - £7 per shirt is extortionate (1 week turnaround) and to top it off they couldn’t even get an easy stain out.

When I had to be the one to point it out and ask about it the man just said “I’ve been in the business a long time.”
