I was extremely anxious about having my wedding dress cleaned. Puffin Cleaners was recommended to me and the second I walked in, Maria put me at ease. Maria was so friendly and full of knowledge, I was happy to leave my wedding dress in her hands! The day came to collect my wedding dress and Maria had done such an amazing job, it looked all sparkly and new!! I'm so happy with it and would highly recommend Puffin Cleaners :D

I enquired by phone, regarding cleaning our sleeping bag. They would have picked it up, but I took it in, they did the job in a couple of days, on request, and finished it early, perfect job. They seem like a nice lot and it didn't cost a fortune.

Maria was fantastic- I contacted her very last minute for alterations to a dress for my wedding and she went above and beyond to ensure it was ready in time. Very highly recommend!

Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After having moved to the area recently, I researched dry cleaners to use to clean my (basically new) Super King duvet at what I hoped would be a reputable business.

Upon speaking to Puffin Cleaners on the telephone, I requested that the item be collected from my address (as this was advertised on their website as a service they offered), and returned upon completion of the cleaning.

They agreed and the driver that collected my item was nice enough, although refused to provide me with any proof that they had received my item and this is where the problem started…

A few days later I had to chase my item up (as nobody called to tell me my item was ready for delivery), to be told that the item would be delivered later that day. The item that was subsequently delivered was a different duvet… with brown stains across and did not match the size or material to my own duvet.

Upon calling the business and speaking to both the Manager (also owner) and the deputy manager, I was inundated with abuse, called a liar and that they “didn’t have time for me as they were so busy”. They have also now suggested I take the issue up with the small claims court as they “checked the CCTV and everything is fine”.

Now, I’m not one to normally complain, but the tirade of abuse I have received for pointing out that the sizing of the item is completely different - let alone the various spurious stains… makes me feel as though I have a personal responsibility to warn others of the potential repercussions of using this company going forward. Customer beware - do not use.

A Brilliant team! I can not express enough how good Puffin Cleaners are.
I have have had my suit adjusted perfectly as well as a velvet jacket and any questions I asked where answered promptly.
The best job they did was with my wife's wedding dress - the bottom was muddy from the lawn and there as a little bit of blood from a cut finger. There was nothing there when I picked it up. All the stains had come out and the dress shone beautifully.
I thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Puffin Cleaners were highly recommended to us by a friend. We gave Maria a very difficult curtain cleaning/re-vitalising job to do. She was so helpful, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job. My cream curtains were also beautifully packaged following the cleaning in protective polythene sheeting to protect against and potential soiling in transit (in my car). The whole experience was smooth and very efficient and we are delighted with the results.
This is a company that will exceed your expectations and I would definitely recommend Puffin Cleaners to anyone without hesitation.

I left my wedding and bridesmaid dresses for cleaning after my wedding in October. The bottom of my wedding dress was a complete mess as I appeared to have mopped up all the slops from the dance floor resulting in a thick layer of red/dark brown stain. I also had red wine stains down the front of the dress.
Maria did an absolutely amazing job with my dress as there were no guarantees it would clean up!!
I would am so grateful to all the staff but especially Maria who worked an absolute miracle! Thank you again .

Puffin Cleaners laundered and dry cleaned several large bags of mixed types of bedding, clothes and upholstery with pick up and delivery working like clockwork and the end results were perfection despite some considerable soiling. Excellent advice was given via the phone and email which are always prompt, a rarity. For all these reasons, I rate Puffin Cleaners by far the best company in South Somerset and West Dorset for all my clients.
