Terrible service. I was looking for an EICR on a property I am purchasing, entered the details onto a tradesman finder and these guys emailed me a quote asking me to call them. Called them and they said they would arrange an appointment with the estate agents. Didn't hear anything back,
I emailed again asking them again if they had set a date, still no reply. How can you trust them to do the job if you cant even trust them to communicate with you?

Following a conversation with a Polarity employee after contacting them via Local Heroes I detailed the work required. Received quote the next day however details of the job we discussed wereomitted. To avoid any dispute I asked for these details to be included in the cost estimate. I repeated the details of the work required online. Exactly the same as the first conversation with Polarity. I duly received a second quote which was almost a 300% increase on the first quote. I immediately cancelled the job and went with a more reliable and more cost efficient alternative. An alternative that was almost 300% less costly than Polarity.

I will update this post next Wednesday 17 June. I have had an Electrical Inspection Report carried out, the usual person that does this for me could not do it because of health reasons do I chose the cheapest. £95 seemed great, but now I wonder. 6 adverse points were raised, previous points raised were alway nil. Having gone to a third Electrician it seems the latest report carried out by Polarity is “a bit harsh”. I will update later. I also think their quote with 20% off may be expensive. Again, will update exact figures later.

What a horrible, horrible service. I had this company attend my property 22nd June to do an eicr with a promise a turn around of a couple of days. When they attended the were there 10 minutes before walking out saying we will be in touch. 10 days later still nothing 14 days later an email arrives saying we want 200 plus to put right some wrongs they found. They never said anything while there No phone call And eicr tests take 2to4 hours And they have taken over 10 days to report back not for geting they are impossible to reach. This is a warning to people that want to use this company. DO NOT USE THEM no matter how cheap they may appear When they attended.
What makes matters worst.. I called another company and it passed first time.

So I find the customer service at Polarity Electrics good but the engineer assigned to my area (Surrey) utterly disgraceful when it comes to reliability. I waited hours for a service, gave an excuse rescheduled for the next day and didn't show up. I would expect that with the economy when everyone is expecting to do their part to improve transactional activities, this engineer will do his bit. Unfortunately, I will not be using Polarity Electrics Ltd again!

Fantastic service from start to finish. I can not recommend this company enough. Their electrician was polite, well trained, informative and very quick at solving my electrical issue.

The report was never sent. They raised so many adverse points. Current EICR was stil valid for another 3 years and no adverse issues raised.

Having gone to another Electrician it seems the latest report carried out by Polarity was just to force us to spend money on unnecessary works.

If you read all the reviews, most people experienced the same issue.

Avoid them like a plague. Will never use them again or recommend to anyone.

I regret dealing with them

ZERO communications. I had to chase and strongarm Polarity so much to get anything out of them. This was for an EICR which they should full-well know has a time limit on it.
The work itself was....fine. But I'd never go with them. I even had to chase them to give them money.
Like other reviews, some of the work seemed unnecessary, but they had me over a barrel, didn't they?
