We have a faulty appliance under warranty and Respond Services were tasked with the repair/replacement. A day's holiday was taken to wait in for the fitter, as Respond's service only allows for an all day slot, which is narrowed down to a 3 hour slot advised on the morning of the call. The fitter arrived to replace the broken part and, guess what, wrong part. Received a phone call a couple of days later from Respond to book a new appointment and again, despite the shoddy service, Respond can only offer an all day slot - so another day's holiday has to be booked. To top it all I was informed by Respond that the 'engineer' (fitter) always checks the parts before setting out. Really? If it wasn't for the appliance being under warranty I would certainly not use Respond. It will be interesting to see if they can get it right next time,

While some tend to write reviews to express their dissatisfaction, in this case I decided to spend time to express quite the opposite. Setting up the visit was straightforward, I was contacted to provide the serial number etc. so the engineer could prepare and take the right parts and there was no problem when I needed to reschedule. A day before the visit I got a text with the 3-hour slot to expect the engineer and he did arrive within that time. The guy was very polite, courteous (took off shoes without even asking) and experienced, replaced the broken parts within 10 minutes and left everything clean, tested and working. From my experience - great service.

I would never use!

Had one of their so called engineers out to look at a temperamental ice dispenser on the freezer door, on trying to do his repair he managed to destroy the dispenser leaving it in bits in the Kitchen, he then turns to my wife and says "sorry unable to fix it" and then without putting it back together as he found it... left leaving a hole in the freezer door,
When I phoned the office to complain about this, the only response I got was Its not our problem anymore, and then subsequently a phone call from the arrogant engineer reiterating "Its not our problem"

Customer service... you're having a laugh!

I was worried after reading the reviews - but proof was in the pudding.

A very helpful and informative gentleman turned up and fixed my washing machine, showing me the part that had broken and explained his fix. Was done within 20 mins, I hope more people who have this experience e leave reviews.

Don't understand the negative comments re this company. Have used them to fix my appliances over a number of years. My washing machine was leaking on inlet hose thankfully it was covered by insurance. The call was booked by the insurance company but for whatever reason it did not go through on Responds system. It turned out they were fully booked on the day I had requested but a pleasant young man by the name of James managed to fit the call in on the day I requested. The Engineer was once again polite and professional and fixed the problem having arrived with the correct part.

I was directed to Respond Services by the shop I bought my washing machine from. The chap who came was quick, efficient and cleaned up any water leakage. Made such a change to have an engineer who wasn't grumpy but a pleasant chap. Machine sorted in no time. Many thanks Respond Services, will most certainly use you again and recommend you.

Utterly awful. Tried to arrange a repair for my oven back in July, rang back periodically asking for update. Was told part would be ready the following month each time. 3 months down the line they are still saying the same thing. Went to oven brand direct who said the part is now obselete. Wasted 3 months with these imbeciles. Do not use.

Dreadful!Arrogant!3 times an engineer came out with wrong parts!In the end took my expensive, fitted microwave oven to bring back the next day,he said,and a month later my microwave was returned to me after the Respond decided to SCRAP IT! They took the part out from my microwave and returned it without it!Hundreads phonecalls to them and to the insurers left me very angry and upset the way they treated me!You have to go through a third degree to be able to talk to a manager and still was refused that!They threw away a part which belong to me without asking and the attitude of the man and the women on the phone is unbelievable and unacceptable!I have to replace now 3 appliances so they match and this ll cost me about 4.5k and you know what the Respod man said....he is not interested in my cosmetic problem!!! I could write a book in here regarding the way I was treated !
