worst shopping experience ever!!!!!

£100 stolen from my pocket!!! £199 shelf prices, £299 cash desk price!!! They offered full refund, but they didn’t give us any discount.
I sent my complaint, but I didn’t find a reply. No problem... this week when we ordered the washer-dryer, dishwasher, and induction hob we can choice different store!
Never again in this store !!!!

We bought two phones from Currys last month and all I can say is go to a proper phone shop.

We wanted two phones with good cameras but didn't want to spend tons of money on the latest and greatest.
We spoke to someone in the phone area and were looking at a Samsung S22 ultra and a Galaxy A13 they said they have the exact same 50MP camera and that all you pay for is a different model.
I was skeptical, but on paper they looked similar.
We asked about other models, and the A13 seemed to fit the bill. We got home, eagerly tried the cameras out and they were an absolutely massive disappointment.

The typing experience was abysmal, the battery was OK at a push and now, not a month later after our ill informed purchase they're now going to be traded into CEX or somewhere similar for a fraction of what we paid for them.
Rubbish service, the person clearly had no knowledge of technology or the products. A huge let down and have now resorted to using our old ones. An absolute joke.

It's frustrating as if we had been better informed we would have probably spent more on something better from them too.

Been here twice and I still haven't been able to buy anything.

Everything on display, phones in an appalling state, retail standards completely disregarded.

I came in twice wanting to buy a phone for me and my brother, nobody ready to serve us for at least 20 min.
I wonder how these people make money, if this is how they serve the customers, they don't deserve online purchasing either.

Clearly understaffed or untrained.

Computers either laptops or desktop full of dust, uncleaned and lots of empty spots.

On a second occasion I wanted to buy a new coffee machine too, again nobody ready to help.

Useless to say I went elsewhere, avoid if you can.
If you are local, try Ashford or similar.

Great store, helpful staff. Only issue which isn't really there fault is lots of shortages on phones, however they are normally well stocked

As seems to always be the case with this Currys, they have an abundance of staff who are either standing about looking uninterested or having a chat with each other. Despite the number with seemingly nothing to do, they show absolutely no interest in customers that need help. I'm not even talking about just myself, I've noticed other people that are clearly needing some guidance but having to figure things out for themselves. And should you actually make a purchase, good luck to you. I hope you have a good spare 45 minutes is all I can say. No wonder people choose to buy online instead these days!

Prices are comparable to online now. Stock has improved as well. Just need to stop the pressure sell of warranties

Same expensive shop as it's always been! They're still trying to flog customers with mega expensive, worthless guarantees costing 5X more than elsewhere.
Don't bother with this one, shop online to save a fortune

I went to the shop in Canterbury to enquire about my online order as it was not yet delivered. The sales assistant was very rude with me, probably having a hard day, he asked me what I would like him to do and it felt like bulling when he said he cannot make my item magically appear. I am very disappointed with the service.
