Helpful service from people who know what they're talking about! Ordered a laptop on Sunday afternoon and it was ready to pick up on Monday afternoon after work.

The only issue was that their trade in for my old laptop came back as £30... Even though the cheapest online second hand is selling for £630!

To be fair to the staff, they advised me to get at LEAST £300 for it and not accept the £30. So good on them for giving a guide price for passing it on.

Bought a new electric cooker there the price was reasonable , the staff member called Gareth was extremely helpful. They had one in stock and loaded it into my car and took away my old one. Top class service.

Bought a laptop here today. The "tech experts" certainly need some more training on USB standards! I experienced a "computer says no" moment when the small tablet they carry around didn't have sufficient information. Two other guys called over who didn't know anything either.

Make sure you do your own research as these people rarely know what they're talking about.

Fridge Freezers were very expensive. I could have done with some advice from the staff but they were all stood round the counter at the front chatting. I may visit again but will probably hit up AO

The Currys store in Barrow in Furness has a wide range of electronic goods.
The goods I needed were available with good customer service.

Just been in currys Barrow-in-Furness for a laptop and 7/8 employees stood behind counter talking and not 1 of them came over to see if we wanted anything getting after waiting for them so we just walked out in disbelief.
Never again AO online next time

Just been to Currys and wanted to buy a watch l saw. At the counter the guy asked me for the first initial of my name, l gave it to him. Then l was asked for my surname, again l gave it to him. Then he wanted my email address. I told him if its for a receipt, I'd prefer the till copy. He told me its company policy. Next l was asked for my postcode, l gave it, then my house number, at which point l very politely told the guy it doesnt matter and l no longer want to purchase the watch. Why can l not enter a shop and simply buy goods without having to give out all my personal information. It's a complete joke!!

Don't see the point in displaying items you can't pick up that day. Can order online myself.
