The worst costumer service I even seen. if I could put a 0 I would. My laptop was left in a drawer at the store for 8 days when they said they sent it of to the repair shop, I needed to psychically come in to the store and see that they haven't sent it away. They also forgot to mentioned that they might need to delete the whole hard drive even though its nothing wrong with my software, I then spent 2.5 hours in store transferring all my data to a another hard drive. Then they called me 1.5 weeks after telling me that they can't do repairs on foreign laptops. Which was my first question coming into the store from the beginning. Then waiting another 6 days for it to be sent back to the store. As NOTHING has been repaid I didn't double check so they didn't deleted anything from my laptop. ALL my pictures on the desktop was deleted. They now want to charge me to find the pictures they deleted. I'm absolutely gutted!!!

Rating based on several visits. Staff on both visits always seem to busy with other matters. On my second visit i came in wanting to buy a Laptop. Informed staff that I wished to buy one on display, staff replied “Ok” and left. Ended up walking out as no one returned to help me complete my purchase. Unfortunately it is experiences like this which means next time i will not be making an effort to come in store. Don’t like giving negative reviews.

Stay away from Currys and DO NO get tricked into getting their insurance. We bought a coffee machine last month, and it has broken already. No problem as we are paying for their extra cover - stating repairs done within 7 days or replacement. Nope - they said they must try the manufacturer first, which will take around a month .. nearly as long as we had the rubbish product. Spent all morning on phone queues, and being hung up on multiple times. STAY AWAY.

[UPDATE]
It seems the staff we spoke to were misinformed and provided us with incorrect information.

So by pure chance, my experience went from terrible, to great - all thanks to one staff member.

As mentioned, my new coffee machine broke, as even though I had insurance, I was told I would need to wait a month for the manufacturer to look at it and return it. This obviously went against what we were told about a 7 day turn around when purchasing the insurance. Even when phoning the support line (when we did manage to get through) - we were told a similar story. Then by a chance mistake, a staff member mistakingly phoned us to tell us our machine was ready for pickup (24 hrs after dropping it off) - we arrived at the store, and it seemed the staff member got confused, and there was nothing to pick up :( - we then got speaking to the manager Chris (Kingston store). Chris, informed us we can write off the machine after 7 days, and so we did - Chris then helped us with our coupon, the machine was upgraded, and he gave us dates on which we could expect the machine, based on their delivery days. He even talked about the differences between the machines, and was happy to answer any question. Today Chris left a voice mail, and told us that our new machine is ready for collection - if it was not for this one staff member, we would still be waiting for our old broken one to be replaced - and left feeling very hard done by. Thank you Chris.

[TL/DNR] Curry's need to concentrate on training their staff with the correct information regarding their return policies, but there are diamonds in the rough, like the Kingston store manager Chris, who excel in customer service, actually know the process, and make up for the other members, which sadly let the team down.

Frustrating customer service on every level!
I wanted to buy a printer in the Kingston store which was marked on sale (Monday). Box wasn't under the counter so I was sent away to buy online. I couldn't find it online. So, today (Friday) I rang and said I wanted to come in and buy it: did they still have it? Could they find the box? I was told to come in and they could sell me that display printer. However, when I got to the store there was no record of my call, no box could be found and the box had the cables and in it ... so no, they couldn't sell it to me. An attempt was then made to sell me a different comparable printer - ...at either twice the price or twice the size. Oh and they also told me PC World doesn't put its clearance items online ... why didn't the salesperson know that on Monday?

0 stars from me!!My first time in Currys kingston branch yesterday. I just wanted a simple headset with inline mic\remote. I asked the staff to help me on this as I thought it will be quick for me to decide. After hearing me out they simply said they dont have it , but they had gaming headsets and if I want anything like this I have to spend £50 above. I had not mentioned any price range but they assumed I would not want anything expensive so it was a waste of their time to even explain what they had and to check if it fits my requierment (I was about to tell him I have 2 bose and beat wireless at home if he thinks I cant aford it, but wanted to keep it simple for my dauther starting secondary). Will never visit this place again.I should have read the reviews before visiting.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Avoid like the plague if you want a new laptop. I've been in numerous times and the guys know nothing about the laptops, they just read off the specs from the label. Also they're all clearly on commission to sell the virus protection rubbish. An elderly woman came in when I was there one time to buy a cheap laptop she wanted just for browsing the internet. The guy serving did not shut up about the virus protection and how she ABSOLUTELY needed it... And it costs £100!! It's actually shameful. You need to retrain your staff cause its not good at all. Please avoid.

0 stars, do not buy from here! Getting in touch with them is nigh on impossible! No phone service, no email service, just a rubbish online chat that gets you nowhere. Needed a refund for an assembly service that I paid for but was never carried out. They did not install and put together the fridge, as instructed and promised, and now it seems like in will never receive my refund for this.

INSANELY WORST than one star - this should be zero. We picked a delivery date today for a SMART TV - 8th Jan and received a text confirmation that it will be delivered between 8:15-12:15. We've been waiting all that time and even started our day half past 7 in the morning but didn't receive anything. NO calls and no one rang us on our door bell - no way to miss their bell as we stayed at home being on lockdown and our phone was just right next to us in full volume! Oh, by the way - a first time customer for PC Currys Kingston and obviously they didn't impress me at all!!

To add the customer service we had in contact in the call can't speak clearly.
