Very posh and modern looking Apple Shop, located in Highcross shopping centre in Leicester.

Shop was busy when I visited, i was greeted by a staff once I walked in and asked if he could help me with anything, which was really helpful as I wanted to buy a phone, not much assistance needed as I knew exactly what I wanted, so transaction was extremely straightforward and easy. Staff was polite, helpful and professional (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name)

Store was very clean and spacious, full of up today technologies and it’s a happy place.

All staff looked smart and most were interacting with customers.

Highcross shopping centre has plenty of parking spaces, a little more expensive than other car parks in city centre, but it has lifts and only across the bridge from car park to shops, it would be easier and safer for elderly, families with young children and disabled people.

Walked in to look at some staples for my watch. I waited to ask a member of staff, not even one of them asked me anything they looked at me but not a word. Some staff where chatting among themselves. When someone walked in the store they ran over to asked them if they needed anything. I waited over 10-15 minutes in retail it’s said a customer must be seen in fives if not you have failed the name of the company. It seemed they didn’t care. The staff seemed to not even think twice that I’m already in store waiting..this place is a joke. Never going there again waste of time. Really made me worthless even with my mental health. I’m shocked how the staff looked right at me but not a word. Seems like if you have money in your hands they be your best friend.

It's set up to be an 'experience ' not a shop.
Stressful and confusing.
Prices not clearly displayed.
Nothing like tills that you'd see in a normal shop.
Staff wear t shirts.
You have to stand around looking confused until someone comes to help.
You can't just drop off a phone for repair it requires an appointment.
Wouldn't ever go if I hadn't made the mistake of buying my daughter an i phone.
They will tell you the cost of repair if you persist in needing to know.

Avoid at all costs .
Went online via apple support to diagnose a problem with my phone. Needed to take it in to the “genius desk” to be repaired. Booked an appointment at Apple Leicester high cross store ( an hour from home). Came in after an hour they said there’s definitely a problem with the 1 month old phone … they had the part in store but can’t do it today . But I should come back in the week and it’ll be done straight away. Come back the next day. Told I’ve a 3 hour wait for the 1.5 hour repair.

to not get a pre arranged repair done is a joke. Maybe a few less sales staff and a few more tech repair staff is required.

I was served by AJ today to purchase an iPhone 13. He was friendly, helpful and able to answer all my questions. Superb customer service.
Issy assisted me in setting up my new phone and transferring everything from my old one. She explained clearly what I need to do, was also friendly and helpful. Superb customer service.
Thank you both.

The 'experience' makes it more difficult to buy or collect something. You don't even have a separate counter for click and collect orders. It is totally unclear as to where to go. It is difficult to tell who is staff and who is a customer! Then there is this business with making appointments which doesn't make any sense and when the store is busy, it makes no difference. Maybe it works better when it is more quiet. I was all set to buy my macbook from your guys but for some reason a simple purchase in the Apple Store has to be unnecessarily difficult so I ended up buying from Amazon. Click and collect not much better. A great place for hanging around and playing with the latest tech, and if you're lucky you'll get to chat with a knowledgable member of staff, but trying to actually buy something is just frustrating. Commerce should be quick and easy - not like this.

Not particularly the best experience as a customer. I expected far better and got served a weird one.

There I am, 'meetkatting' and no one remotely comes to ask me anything (I'm there to spend money, respect that!). Eventually I just go up to someone myself and say what I'm looking for.

No attempts to ask whether its the right product and provide advice, no attempt to sell/upsell/add-on.

Next, I wait 7 minutes for someone who must have been new I assume. Took 8 minutes and did not actually bring the products herself and was told off for not grabbing any of it by a runner.

She doesn't attempt to offer anything else except the apple care which they did in the most stereotypical and rubbish scaremongering attempt. Like come on, I actually wanted it and you made me not take it with poor service and a desperate attempt to scare me into it.

They tried to say 'ipads are difficult to repair'. What?! That's what Apple's repair centres are for. They ain't difficult at all, they are expensive though. And, when I joke about just taking a risk (I have to try and sell insurance in my job and have the same response) they try to recommend the insurance... RECOMMENDING insurance is illegal my dudes.

Just bleh. The sales reps are fine at best but more often unpleasant or rude. It’s always too crowded and the customer service isn’t great because they are usually overwhelmed. You have to hunt down and wrestle your way to get checked in. You’ll get your product but it won’t be pleasant.
