Went to buy a new washing machine only to find out due to lots of reasons that they are very scarce at the moment. Our washer had just packed up so we needed one ASAP. The lady who dealt with us was extremely helpful, and managed to find us one at Wrexhams branch. Very impressed with the service always like dealing with people face to face. A*

This store is located on the gray hound retail park just outside Chester. The store is larger than the average Currys store including a small second floor.

The store is laid out well with products in clear sections. Within each section you find hundreds of demo products, to encourage you to try before you buy.

Parking is no problem as the store has hundreds of spaces including several disabled bays. Disabled access to the store is good with a customer lift to access the second floor.

Bought an LG Oled TV as it was on offer and you got a free sound bar with it. We bought the TV at the beginning of October and was told the sound bar would be in stock in 4 days. Never heard anything so went in to be told end of October. Still heard nothing and its been over a month. We bought this TV specifically because of the deal and feel like we’ve been conned into buying something and had no communication what so ever.

Called at Chester store on 28/11 to buy a laptop I'd seen advertised there on line. There were none in store so paid and ordered one at £599 plus paid for 3 year care and repair contract which I was told could be back-dated to when I received the laptop. Later that day received an email that my order was cancelled and my card would be refunded. No reason given and told not to reply. Talked to someone who said it was a store issue. Went back to store 29/11, re-ordered the laptop and found out that the care package date could not be changed. Got another email when I got home, order cancelled again. Went back to store and cancelled care package and now waiting for that refund and 2 x £599 payments. No one in the Chester store including the manager offered a word of apology for the inconvenience. What kind of business has Curry's become?

Walked in store to check out a few items we wanted, then waited for a sales assistant to arrive to offer advice or to help us with them none came over after 45 minutes of being in the store, so sent the daughter to find someone, a sales assistant stacking items said he would send someone another 20+ minutes passed, I was ready to leave as all other store assistants were playing around with their phones, when I spotted Fiona from white goods she asked if I was OK, and then she went out of her way to help us get the items we wanted even though it wasn't her area, she even ran through the whole process of my blue light card as its all changed since I last used it. I can't thank her enough for her time and patience due to the poor signal in store. If it wasn't for her we'd walked away. Fiona is worth 5***** on her own

Went into the store to spend about £1800, new Television and a new Dyson vacuum cleaner….. Went upstairs first to look at different makes of cordless vacuum cleaners and a lady in that section was very helpful, and we said we were also going to buy a new TV at the same time, we went and looked at the TVs……Store was very quiet at 5.15 pm and we looked at varies TVs, no staff about by the TVs so we went searching for someone that could help us as the guy said it wasn’t his section …… Waited for an hour and no one came so we asked another guy who also said wasn’t his section but would get someone over ….. Another half hour went by yet again no one came to help so we gave up and walked out of the store not even buying the vacuum cleaner as we were so frustrated with the store!! Was a total joke !!

Great shop.

Very friendly and helpful staff.. Sam helped me only visit who was excellent certainly knew her stuff. Helped purchase some Ring products and door bell amongst other things.

I came into store today to get a refund. The first time I came in a lady had been waiting for 1 hour. I asked at the till if I can do a refund he said “no go to the returns desk” I stand waiting at the returns desk .. 2 men come on and start having a chat and ignore me, don’t ask me if I need anything. I asked if I can do a refund they said go to the repairs desk. After 40 mins of waiting - I walk out. I came back in the afternoon and the attitude on the staff members if disgusting. Staff stood around but can’t help you- and supposedly only 1 person can do a return In the whole shop - in between customers he’s repairing/sorting things. I had to stand waiting for 1 hour to get a refund. This is absolutely disgusting and I won’t be returning or making any further purchases here. The assistant manager Byron has a bad attitude and not customer friendly.
