As a Slovenian national living in Manchester it's important for me to visit the Embassy in London for all sorts and possible reasons on a regular basis. In the past 10+ years I've never had any issues with visiting or getting things done (passports or visas). They are always very friendly and can accommodate to your needs if necessary.
