Nice little village pub, very friendly bar lady who was helpful and polite, you can sit inside or they have benches out the front and also an area out the back you can sit in.
Food was nice and portion sizes were great even the small plate lunch was a good size, perfect lunchtime size , definitely go back! 👍🏻

What a proper little gem. A picturesque little cottage with welcoming and polite staff and beautiful home cooked food. A great selection of food and drinks and an outdoor bar.

It's an alright local pub, but the roast dinner (chicken) was super disappointing. it's not a piece of roast chicken per se, but an unseasoned piece of chicken breast fillet "roasted" in the oven (pic attached). As well as this, the potatoes were undercooked and the carrots hard.
Fish and chips were good though, plus the homemade tartare sauce was great.

We booked for Sunday dinner
I had the roast chicken and Debs had the beef.
Both were absolutely outstanding,roast potatoes were perfect more needed though
The desserts were a match for the mains.
All in all one of the best we've ever had.

One of the few pubs in the area with good seating outside and warm fires inside and a lovley service and food when you seek it

Served by I believe James, he was very friendly and very attentive.
I had the vegan pie which I highly recommended
My partner had the vegan meatless ball with couscous, again excellent. Finished with vegan apple pie and custard.
Highly recommended
And compliments to the chef.

Nice local pub in a quiet spot, with outdoor seating at the rear of the property.
Menu / food was good and served to a high finish. Marked 4/5 stars as we went midweek (only 4-5 tables were occupied) but got the impression they were short staffed / stressed by the volume.
