We recently had the pleasure of staying here in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Camped in the really pretty faerie dome for the night. The amenities block was excellent and had everything we needed. Sympathetically illuminated in the evening the farm looks ethereal and effortlessly transports you to a place of peace and tranquility.
From the moment we arrived we were treated like family and warmly welcomed by the hosts. A tour allowed us to meet the resident pigs, horses, reindeer herd, Samoyeds and many other animals. Loved it here so much we upgraded to feed the animals and get closer to the reindeer. A remarkable experience and definitely worth doing. Take a camera! Lots to see and do.
In the evening we sat in a quirky and chilled out bar area with Glastonbury festival playing on the radio, whilst we were served mega pints, local cider and cocktails by the hosts.
A truly magical experience that we cannot wait to do again.
Located near Yeovil, Fleet Air Arm museum, Glastonbury high street and only a stone's throw from the Jurassic coastline of Dorset. It's perfect for exploring and adventuring too.

Just returned home from a 2 night stay here and what an amazing place! Sarah and Dave were absolutely amazing hosts. Kind, friendly, welcoming and nothing was a problem when asked. The location is set up beautifully and the atmosphere was refreshing and comfortable! The children thoroughly enjoyed the animals and the reindeer experience was awesome! Can’t wait to go again!! Thank you so much!!

The owners Dave and Sarah are lovely, can see how hard they work and the effort they put in to building and maintaining a beautiful and unique site.
The reindeer lodge was really unique and spacious. The built in barbecue is a great feature, made for a lovely dinner and cooked breakfast. Complete with its own garden area and fire pit, toasting marshmallows and drinking proper cider from the horse box bar makes a lovely end to the day.
The fairy garden for the kids is beautiful, looks magical lit up in the evening. Our daughter made friends with some of the other kids there and it felt really safe and secure for them to play and go between the different families pitches. I think they spent more time at the bar than the adults. When they weren't cuddling the lovely site cats at least. The horse box bar is a really quirky addition and we enjoyed sampling a few different ciders while we were there. We didn't have the pizzas available but others did and they looked delicious.
The bathroom and toilet facilities are great too, nice hot shower, always clean and enough for the size of the site, never had to wait.
We loved the balance of being left to relax and explore the site at leisure and the fact the owners were available so quickly for anything we needed.

We all absolutely loved it here! Beautiful, cleverly designed, magical, well organised and whimsical. Can’t wait to take the kids again! They loved it! This is an annual must!

Visited last Sunday for the “Magical Christmas experience” and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just one hour but you were kept entertained the entire time. All of the staff were fantastic and great with the kids. Animals were great and kids loved seeing them all. Well worth the money and would definitely visit again next year - THANK YOU to Sarah, Santa and elves :-) See you all again next year

Visited the ranch back in December 17th 2022 and it was amazing, so many animals, reindeer, peacocks, donkeys, emu's, turkey's, horses, bunny's, Samoyed dog's. The whole day out was fantastic including meeting farther Christmas himself! Excellent for all ages would definitely go back!

We visited last Sunday with a 5 year old and 3 year old. My daughter just started talking about it this morning and said "Mummy it was so magical when we stepped through the wardrobe." Words of a 5 year old. Sums up the experience perfectly. Will definitely return! The cuddly toys still have a lovely smokey smell from the wood burner 🥰

Such a unique and truly magical experience at Somerset Reindeer Ranch. The animals are clearly loved and happy. The staff (elves) were brilliant. We can't wsit for our next visit!
