The Village of Rede is the highest point in Suffolk at 128m or 420ft. The church of All Saints is a Grade II* listed building of mediaeval roots rebuilt in 1874-77. The nave wall lower sections are C12 or earlier. The tower is c.1300 with the top stage raised c.1875. The octagonal pulpit is mid C17 whilst the octagonal font is C15. An interesting building and is open for viewing and private prayer. Well worth a visit and not far from a C15 pub!
