Houdini's Escape Room Experience - Escape Room Southampton

Thoroughly enjoyable. Hosted by Nate, this time round we were in the Alcatraz room as a birthday treat for one of our party. The clues were definitely more involved than the Titanic experience we'd done before. With only an hour this time rather than 90 minutes, the pressure was on, but we made the escape with just over three and a half minutes remaining. Would recommend for anyone looking to do something that little bit different and put your brain juices flowing. 5 stars.

Would 100% recommend this for all families with adults, we was welcomed in straight away be a lovely lady named Erin. She talked us through the whole way from the instructions/ brief and giving us clues when needed. We managed to escape with 1 second remaining and was also given bracelets and a discount on our next booking. Our family did the Alcatraz room and we will definitely be back for a different room next birthday treat. Thank you to Erin for making this a great experience for my brother's 23rd birthday gift.

We did the Alcatraz room and whilst I really enjoyed it my girlfriend didn't. No mention of jump scares (or so I'm told) and ended up on edge the whole game. Some very clever puzzles that we hadn't seen before and we managed to escape (barely). Would definitely recommend this room to people who are okay with a more eerie atmosphere and scares.

We escaped Alcatraz! Had a great time here with my Partner for his birthday. Really enjoyed the room. Our first escape room experience, and our host, the beautiful India, made it one we’ll remember. Very fun and attentive, you did an amazing job and we were glad to have been one of your first inmates. Thank you 😊

Great experience at this escape room, it was my first time at an escape room and makes me want to go again! Erin was very helpful and made us all comfortable. Would 100% recommend was great fun and a good level of difficulty.

Really good time thank you! Out host, Chloe, was really friendly and lovely, and the room (we did titanic) had a really good mix of puzzle types and was super engaging. I loved the storyline, and we thouroughly enjoyed ourselves! The only thing I will say is that the room was a bit easier than other rooms we've done in the past- although I still preferred it :)

As soon as I entered I was greeted by a very friendly host. They really tried to put me at ease as this was the first time doing an escape room. Once our whole group had arrived and we filled out the waiver form on the tablet, our experience began.

Our hosts led us to a viewing room for our induction, which involved the backstory of our escape room theme. The host was very passionate and gave a lot of effort into the performance. Afterwards we were led to our escape room.

Although a few of the puzzles went over my head, they had very well placed clues, so we used others and we found keys by chance.

Overall I feel your experience is very much dependent on your group, how well you work together and the chemistry. But for our first experience it was very enjoyable and had a lot of laughs.

So for my own experience I can't really critique it so I would say overall experience 5/5

We went to Houdini's as part of my 30th birthday and did the Titanic room. There were 6 of us and we managed to complete the room in just over 44 minutes getting us onto the leaderboard! The room was great fun and had some surprises which always adds to the atmosphere. Our host Nathan was also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you to you for a lovely evening!
