Were able to accommodate a large booking for a work farewell on a couple week’s notice.
Enough things to do that we were all busy for the whole hour.
(Do note though, that the bookings for the large room are public, so if you dont was them to shove Randoms in with you, you need to book out the whole session.)
Venue is at the bottom of 2 flights of stairs, but there is a lift.
There is flat access to the room if you use the lift, but it will be difficult to move about in a normal-larger wheelchair.
When you enter they explain you the rules (not break anything, do not force anything..) and they put you in the room. What I was missing was that the staff did not tell us the story to the game, I would have love to tell you the story to put you in the mood that you are going to steal a Bank, so become more engaged with the story.
As the time progresses and the staff see that is costing you too much, they give you some clues through a phone that is inside of the room . The clues that they gave you are for free, but if you are really stuck and do not receive any clue, you can make them a call to get the clue, but it will get penalized with one minute.
Some of the puzzles did not have nothing to do with the story and look out of place and they put those just there to get a code and open a lock.
I would have prefer if instead of a phone was an speaker, so everyone in the room can hear the clue and not just the person at the phone. There were some people who do not catch the message exactly and that lead to confussion, so please start using speakers and not phones to communicate with the players.
The decoration of the room I would say was a 4/10, I'm missing more things to make it look like a real bank, maybe some bags of money, some plants.. extra decoration to put you in the role.
And something that it was weird, is that usually when you pass a escape room, they make you a photo of all your group to have a good memory of the event. But in this one did not happen and the farewell was a bit abrupt for that, it was like they were rushing to get rid of us.
TLDR: I do not think we’ll be back again, there are other good escape rooms in London, but this one is not one of them.
