History Mystery Escape Game at Blickling Church

This is our 2nd Escape Room game and our 2nd failure to escape but we had a fantastic time . This was a more logical game and less manic as one clue led to another and no red herrings. The whole church is your game area and open to the general public while you play . Luckily we played at 6pm and no one else entered the church . The gamesmaster's were very good and helpful if you got stuck .

Great atmosphere, location and story. Our Gamemaster, Ben, was brilliant and put a lot of effort into making his part believable. The puzzles were hard enough to enjoy but still vex, which meant we had to work as a team which made it even more enjoyable. Lots of giggles along the way. I'd highly recommend doing this with a bunch of friends. We went for a meal afterwards where we had lots to talk and laugh about. A very memorable weekend.

Ben, I'm so sorry you had to put up with me and my friends, You did your best to remain professional while we were going around a church and cursing some-what. The experience was great, I can now say that I am the good luck charm for our group, as this is the first Escape Room I have done with my mates, and this is the first they won, so I guess they need to take me on all of their future excursions. A very well thought through story, perfect execution, and the right amount of difficulty. I recommend highly this mystery. Don't be afraid to part with some coinage!

Gee brilliantly lead us through a high paced game with loads of puzzles that tested us. What a brilliant setting as well. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting, thought-provoking clues and questions and a fun filled hour against the clock! Our team had a blast and our host, Grandmaster Ellie, prompted us when necessary. We will be booking the other history a Mystery game in the new year ..

We had a great time, gamemaster Ben was brilliant at the story telling. Great use of the church interior and religious/royal theme. We got out with 48 seconds to spare!, will definitely do another game by this company.

This was brilliant! It was a real treat to do an escape room in a spacious real location (no chance of claustrophobia here). We did get a little stuck near the beginning but I think our gamemaster, Ellie, found the right balance between letting us flounder and helping out! Some of the clues were absolutely ingenious and made great use of the environment we were in. I only wish we were due back to Norfolk on holiday soon so we could try some of their others!

We were fortunate to do this escape room on a wet summers afternoon. This is a great activity for all the family as we all got involved in solving the clues around this lovely church setting. Ellie our games master gave us the occasional pointer to keep us progressing and kindly allowed us an extra minute to finish the whole thing. We strongly recommend this if you plan to visit Blickling Hall or the surrounding area.
