Fantastic little shop hidden away in Northcamp, I was so surprised to read a negative review as I can only speak really positively about the customer service that I always get here .
There is a real mix of fabrics, haberdashery ,craft materials ,curtain fabric, and I never leave without finding what I want.
The staff have always greeted me with a welcome, and have even offered me a coffee whilst choosing curtain fabrics recently.
Do give this lovely shop a visit.

18.5.19. Very disappointing customer service! I was clearly finding the choice difficult on what material to buy but not once did either member of staff ask me if I wanted help. I was in the shop a while browsing and no one offered advice.

I asked the man working behind the counter how much a certain item was and he replied in a very unenthusiastic manor, I then asked if the two items beside it were the same price and he just replied with “no” and walked off to read his paper on the front desk!

I felt very awkward to ask any further questions about the materials or their prices. The girl in the shop just went about her business and didn’t acknowledge we were even in the shop.

On principle I decided not to buy from this store due to the terrible attitude and lack of enthusiasm from the staff! There is a fabric stool in Aldershot on a Saturday, the selection is no where near as fantastic as fabric box but the customer service and help is there- I ended up getting my fabric from the stool!

Very Friendly helpful staff . I’ve been a long time customer since it was called Westhouse Textiles almost 30 years Or so , I recommend lots of people as I know your getting value for money , and if it’s not in stock they do their best to order it . They also offer Classes Too ,
So keep up the good work Janet & co ,!

Been to this shop a few time and each time the staff are disengaged and seem to not even offer the most basic customer service- always takes my breath away. It’s not a busy shop but on entering there isn’t a greeting and when asking for help they appeared unhelpful and abrupt. The stock is a great range but I made up my mind I won’t be going again- I’ll stick to online stores thanks.

Very disappointing and almost ruined my morning.

Not a massive stock of dressmaking materials but quite a lot for crafts. Stock upholstery and curtain materials. Has a curtain making service. Staff are very helpful. Next door to a craft store. Very handy. Limited opening times at the moment.

Very good service. Even with Covid restrictions. Lovely cheerful lady serving. Will definately come back as there is also a good choice of products that suited my requirements.

I called to see if they were still open. And yes they are still open. The lady I spoke to was so, lovely and Friendly and answered my queries. I am going visit the store next as a result..
