The Fabric Bird

I’m here on holiday from Wales I purchased a quilting book on my first visit to the shop they had so much selection and they were so nice and helpful I will be revisiting the shop before I return home. If I lived nearby I would visit the shop daily as they are very helpful. They let you browse the shop and help when you ask them to, they make you feel at ease as if you have known them for years.

One of my absolute favourite shops. The variety of fabrics, cross stitch, patterns and everything stitchy is impressive. A real alladins cave of stitchy gorgeousness. Kate is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. It's a real treat to pop in and find my next project.

Stopped off in Thirsk today especially to visit and I was NOT disappointed. A real Aladdins cave full of wonderful range of gorgeous fabrics, cross stitch and sewing supplies. I was really pleased to pick up some bits I'd been looking for and nice that there was full sets of a range rather than been the odd bolt . Will definitely be back thank you

Beautiful shop with the largest choice of fabrics. Very neatly presented too, not just rolls shoved into corners but everything laid out so you can see the choices.

Friendly helpful owner and a great shop with plenty of choice and good value for money

Shop packed with everything you need for patchworking, pillows cushions. Lovely huge range of jelly rolls and good choice of squares . Every colour and design you can think of. Convenient for the large car park.

I love this shop, such a great selection of cross stitch related items, picked up some gorgeous coloured fabrics that I've not seen before. A lovely friendly lady behind the counter. I will certainly call in again when I'm back in Thirsk.
