Kind interested assistants, big range of fabrics.
Just wish it included more natural fibres like linen, wooland silks.
Perhaps there's no call for them from the public.

It does what it does for craft and dressmaking. Although synthetic fabrics are used these days, there are few silks, the lace is nylon and no fine cottons. Those have to be found elsewhere. I do understand why as there probably is a need to stock in bulk and expensive fabrics might not be popular. However if there was somewhere that sold beautiful fabrics, people would came from miles. Then of course it would be a specialist shop. Good haberdashery and sewing advise. We are lucky to have the store.

Called in today, ten minutes before closing, and the two ladies serving were most kind and helpful and put no pressure on me to hurry up. Really appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Thank you

Nice stock of yarn and haberdashery, and some nice fabric, but hugely expensive!
12 inch open ended zip... £4.80 or £6.79? Lots of the fabrics were in excess of £15 per metre, and in reality I felt annoyed with myself for travelling 45 mins each way and coming out with nothing, but I just can't justify the cost.
You can get much cheaper elsewhere, and I won't bother going back. Yes, it's a potentially one stop shop, but take your gold credit card!
