Old Nelson Brewers Fayre

We love this place, the staff is fabulous. Food is great, occasionally pasties run out but as there is lots of choices for breakfast, we don't usually mind. Cooked breakfast is delicious.

They made a real efforts for my daughter's birthday which was lovely. My daughter loved it. Food is basic pub grub but was good for what it is if that makes sense. Only down side was it took ages to order and get the food but staff were lovely

We live in Bath but have had a few family meals here meeting half way and Saturday December 17th. we stopped here on our way to see my son and his family. All the staff were really friendly and we both ordered the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and delicious! Such a lovely place 🙂

We arrived for an evening drink and a bite to eat after a work event, Abbi went above and beyond for one of our team members which made the experience better than expected. Friendly Staff and nice atmosphere.

This was a great Brewers Fayre experience with good quality food on our visit (better than other restaurants in the chain have been to recently). The staff were friendly & helpful, a lovely location opposite the scenic Stratford Park, decent sized car park and set in an impressive building, at least compared to the more usual modern ones that the chain normally occupy. If you like visiting Brewers Fayre then this one is recommended!

Had an offer code for a free main course in December, so had 2 steaks for price of 1 which is obviously great value. Steaks were good and cooked as ordered. Service at bar (for ordering of food and drinks) was very slow. The restaurant itself was looking rather shabby and tired, and not brilliantly clean. Our table was nicely positioned by a window, but the surface of it was dirty and very sticky!

All you can eat for £8.99 and kids go free, so considering this price, for two breakfast and drinks, it was an absolute bargain.

Due to Covid, it is table service, I believe it is normally buffet style, and there were only three servers, a fourth came on later as we were leaving.

Therefore, the service was a little slow, but not bad enough to get annoyed. The staff were friendly, genuinely apologetic for the wait, and no-one seemed to be complaining as you could see how busy they were.

Food tasted nice, I would certainly go again.

Good food cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. Minimal wait for food. Can not fault the service we received tonight. Recommended for a visit
