Always used to enjoy coming here for the decent quality and nice surroundings but following our last two visits I won't be going again. The main owner is an older lady and you will no doubt spot her out by the sheer abuse she gives her staff.

She isn't afraid of being entirely rude to customers either. No one deserves to be spoken to the way she speaks to people so much so that I know several of her employees have left recently in an attempt to get away from her. Do not blame them one bit.

Do not give this woman any of your money, she does not deserve the business she has.

Visited this place when it first opened, since then made a few visits which have all been so so! My goodness it has gone down the nick. The food is poor and overpriced and the coffee is cold and expensive. It is dispensed from a machine. The cafe and shop has promise until you examine the prices! It is so expensive. The proprietor is rude to staff and visitors alike. She wouldn't let someone share a cake on a separate plate. She refused saying something random about overheads. The toilet smells and the lights weren't working. To top it all there were flies buzzing around and insects crawling on the floor. Me thinks this place is struggling and under pressure!

I always like to support a local company. Not lived in Brayton long but wanted some decent steak so thought I'd try it out. Wow love this place. Went for steak came back with snacks, steak, veg and lovely red wine glasses which I couldn't buy cheaper anywhere. I Will be back. Looking forward to my fillet steak.

Large space with plenty of room to maneuver around the aisles. Very friendly staff who are really helpful.
Clean and tidy.
Good range of veg, salad and fruit which was fresh. Great range of other items including everyday staples or eggs, flour sugar and bread.
Great butchers with a good range and very helpful if you need anything specific.
Would definately use again

The owner and staff have excelled themselves in helping us while we have been self isolating. The produce is great quality and the service has been above and beyond despite being overwhelmingly busy. Thanks everyone, we are looking forward to paying a visit when these difficult times are over. Julie Easter Bunny! 🐰

Such a lovely shop. The Butcher is boning some chuck steak as we speak but I went in this morning and on impulse asked a lady who the owner was and she said “I am !” I have been wanting to ask since I moved here if they could spare me a root of the lovely silver and white flowers bordering the car park.
Now I don’t want to cause a stampede but she gave me a bag full 🤣😂
Thank you so much☺️

A great choice of locally sourced meat and veg as well as top quality deli and other products. The shop itself is spacious and well laid out and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
