We’ve shopped here for a while for fresh produce and it’s always been fantastic. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. Today we stopped for lunch for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! The menu was extensive and again the staff were so polite, welcoming and attentive. I had a Brie and Bacon salad which was huge and absolutely delicious. The ploughman’s was amazing too. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for the amazing cakes, but next time I will make sure to leave space! We will definitely be staying for lunch again.

The place is a little small with not a great deal of seating, upstairs is very cramped and it looked and felt quite uncomfortable to sit and eat up there so we decided to go back downstairs. Upstairs was very warm, downstairs very cold - no in-between 😂 It was a Saturday when we went and was crazy busy, the staff were rushed off their feet. When we arrived there were two tables free, both of which still had dirty plates on them and it took them a while to come and clear it which is not great but I understood because they were so busy. For drinks we had a milkshake and hot chocolate which were both lovely! For food we had the burger, steak baguette & cheesy chips. The burger was nice but could have done with being just one burger patty, the top one was nice but the bottom bit of my burger was so sodden with all the greece and oil from the burger, bacon and cheese sat on top of it, it was actually quite horrible and I couldn't eat it. I have had double burgers before and never had this problem so maybe using too much oil? I don't know. The Steak Baguette was really nice, I wish I had ordered that - no complaints there. The chips are nice and chunky, we enjoyed those. We also had a couple of cakes to take away which were yummy but I read in a previous review that they don't actually make these?? Which is a bit misleading, they should advertise this I think. Price wise - I think it's a little steep but then I am a bit of a tight arse. It all came to around £39 for two drinks, two mains and two cakes. We were overcharged by £5 which was promptly sorted out but if we hadn't noticed then that's a lot of money wasted so make sure you check your receipts. The toilets are nicely done but could do with a bit of a clean, I understand it's a farm but they were very grubby!

Called in for lunch today for the first time. The cafe is lovely upstairs. Really nice touches like the cutlery in its own little pocket. The waitress was lovely. We had jacket potatoes and Welsh rarebit. Both dishes were very tasty. Everything looks very fresh and clean. Good prices. Will definitely be back.

Ate at the cafe here twice. Once for breakfast and the following day for lunch. Both meals were superb. My wife's steak baguette was especially generous; brimming over with slices of very tender steak. The staff were friendly and efficient and keeping on top of service despite it being a busy Friday lunchtime. Even picked up a couple of pies to take home 🙂

Went for lunch with my husband. The good was very nice but would have preferred my ham salad on a plate rather than a wooden chopping board. The table we sat at was for 2 people and we only had room for the cutting boards and a drink each. This was after moving the condiments etc. The service was slow and it wasn't very busy. Not sure we would go back

Had a gorgeous toastie with fresh crisp salad and coleslaw and a lovely cold glass of wine, staff are lovely and attentive even though they were very busy. Got some produce from the shop (salads and pasties) looking forward to trying these. Can't wait to visit again. Thank-you.

Great lunch today with our grandson (3). They do an all day breakfast which was great and our little one demolished his sausage, chips and beans
Then of course there are the delicious cakes which we took home for tea (11 different on offer).
Lovely staff to make it a perfect lunch out.

Fantastic breakfast, cooked well, pleasant staff. Bit crowded and noisy at times in upstairs dining area.
