Good food easy to find and a nice little shop that sells local produce. The breakfast menu stops at 11:30am

Ordered chicken cob with stuffing , gravy and roast potatoes. The chicken was tough and dry. The stuffing was dried out and impenetrable by fork. The gravy was more like chicken stock. The roast potatoes were disgusting . It was as though all the ingredients had been reheated.
We will not return.
I will add that having complained about all this, they did not charge me for it.

It was raining cats and dogs and blowing a hooly on our bikes to the next stop. A welcome break with easy access and ample parking. I ordered the cream tea and was served a scone fit for the gods.
Will definitely call in again when in the area.

Friendly place, had the best freshly made soup ever, great coffee. Relaxed atmosphere. Good access for my elderly frail dad as all flat, no steps

Best sausage rolls I've ever had here at Highfield farm shop

Don't tell anyone but this is one of the best farm shops in Derbyshire. Their hot sausage rolls are fabulous. Their selection of cheeses is second to none. Their customer service is brilliant.
Go next door to the cafe and a menu with everything you could fancy. Their milk shake was worth the trip out by its self. We always judge cafes by their tea. The appearance of a tea strainer arriving told us that they were using real tea leaves. Two decent cups of tea kept him happy.
Try it even if you just want sausage rolls and a pot of tea, enjoy it.
Just don't tell everyone it's our secret.
