Our first visit to this cafe/farm shop, but a useful stop for refreshments one of our regular cycle rides.
The cafe offers a range of scones, cakes, hot food and hot and cold drinks.
The staff were very busy due to a large party of walkers and consequently service was a little on the slow side.
We only had time for a quick visit to the farm shop but it gave the impression that it was stocked mainly with bought in items.

Fabulous cafe - coffee was great, coffee & walnut cake was best (and biggest slice) I've ever had anywhere. I had to rush off agreed that but two friends I had been with went into the farm shop and got superb vdgerabkes

Our friends joined us for a lovely relaxed breakfast. Such a pleasant place, wonderful staff, nothing is too much effort. They realise each visit is an occasion and leave you to simply chat and eat. Food was excellent as always.

Sweet little cafe off the beaten track
Lovely assortment of ice cream...and a very nice farm shop directly next door selling a lot of varied foodies...

Proper farm shop. Great selection of produce, most locally grown. Good value and well worth a visit.

Myself and family went for breakfast this morning and weren't disappointed, lovely piping hot food and teas and coffees, and as I have dietary intolerences was nice to have a gluten free option of sausages and bread for toast and dairy free spread instead of butter, we all enjoyed our breakfasts very much and will definitely be returning, lovely cafe and staff 😊

Having shopped here, as I often do, for the week's fruit and veg on Tuesday, I realised that I'd forgotten to get some wood-waste fire logs to try. I went back early the next day and, as it was quite bleak, decided to have a cooked breakfast for a change. Fabulous! The full works, with a mug of good coffee, for under £9. Cooked fresh and served up promptly by smiling, friendly staff. The shop and café are both very highly recommended.

Have used this shop for years and each time I visit I always come away with far more than I’d originally intended to buy! The quality is excellent, much of it home grown and you really can taste the difference. Yes it is a little more expensive than cheap supermarket stuff but the extra is worth every penny - seriously.

As for the person who posted the review about staff being rude??? Find that incredibly hard to believe; I’ve never had anything less than excellent, professional, friendly and helpful service, whoever has served me.
