We loved our stay at the campsite and enjoyed Pauline's food at the farm shop. One of the best flapjacks and sausage rolls I ever tasted, which made cycling the rest of the south downs easier. We will be back to try the hut and cabins!

Wonderful stay in the Shepherds hut, next to the farm. Pauline and Richard couldn't do enough for us, sorting us out with a delicious continental breakfast and a packed lunch for the next leg of the SDW. Would recommend highly 👌

This is a basic, quiet field site, suiting those of us who prefer to be away from crowds, like to see children playing, don't need loads of facilities and enjoy a camp fire. The two loo/shower hut is very clean and well maintained. The non-electric plots tend to slope, so I wish we had taken our wheel ramps.
The large, friendly, farm shop has many unexpected delights, including some refillables, so ticks the eco-friendly box, too.
The village pub is friendly and serves good food..
We had all we needed for our two night stay while we visited the nearby Bush-craft Show.

This was the perfecting stopping point while we cycled the Southdown's. Pauline was so helpful and made our stay hassle free. There is a pub 1/2 a mile way that you can walk to off the road. We stayed in the cabin which can hold 4 people and has it's own separate bathroom and shower facility. It's well worth paying extra for the bacon and egg rolls we had for breakfast. Thank you again Pauline for a lovely nights stay.

Great find at 8pm after a long day hiking. popular with hikers/ cyclists doing the SDW. Wonderful views. Turning the shower on is challenging. Only 1/4 trying to use it could switch it on and only as they had stayed before. Recommend a new shower head/switch. But the shower itself is amazing freezing and refreshing outdoor shower lots of pressure.

I had booked a camping pitch for an overnight stay as part of a SDW walk. Due to the weather I had to upgrade to a B&B and Pauline and her family couldn't have been more helpful, finding me a place at short notice, Would stay there again, no problem.

Spent one night here in May. Amazing spot with far reaching views and sunsets. Basic and clean facilities. Nice level field. Right on the South Downs way and 20min walk to the pub. Good flapjacks too, that helped me on my next part of the journey!
