Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen

Highly recommended to all our guests as a wonderful day out. The children can play and adults can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine. Local fresh produce also for sale in the delicatessens.

Some of the highest quality food you'll get in the area. Amazing service and big portions of food, well worth the money. Stunning scenery and plenty of local walks in the area as well. 100% must visit, especially if you want to try the local produce in the farm shop.

Breakfast and coffee here were a delight, freshly cooked and very tasty. The best cappuccino I've taste in recent months.
The shop itself sell a good range of local goods. The prices are quite expensive but worth it.
All staff very polite and helpful.

Went for brunch at forage and were looking forward to some lovely food, only to be left waiting at the "host area" until it had passed 11am and then be told "we're only serving coffee and cakes now." This was at 2minutes past 11am and we had arrived well before this. So disappointed in the lack of flexibility from the staff and kitchen in accommodating 2 extra orders when they were clearly still preparing breakfasts. Having said that, the food looked excellent, and the coffees were nice. Just a shame we didn't get to experience any of it!

Customer service poor. I bought some coffee from this store which I later returned, and was told I had to return it to the supplier?? I asked to speak to a manager but they were all in a meeting, but was promised a call back on the day, which never came. I then emailed, and got no response. I Have tried to call the store but no one answers. The shop and restaurant are lovely, but customer service a big disappointment.

On a visit from Canada, we stopped here and were amazed by the quality of the products. Great place, nice choice of product and we loved the butchers. We grabbed 3 T-Bones 1 1/2 inch thick.
The best T-Bone my brother had since he lives in Wales. And he lives 10 mins away! 😌
And the people that works here are just fantastic, nice and kind people!

Not helpful at all except one gent who was amazing. Restaurant was closed and they wanted a 92 year old disabled man to walk outside with his walker in the torrential rain instead of walking about 10 steps through the restaurant, luckily the gent that works there cut into the conversation and came to our rescue. While in there 3 other gents most kindly gave uo their table for the elderly couple I was with to sit down. Coffee was lovely but staff need a few people skills to say the least.

Me and my husband love it here. We are local and recently got a Labrador puppy. We’ve been taking her to forage regularly to socialise in a safe environment. We grab a coffee and some food from Forage away and sit outside. Then go for a little walk up the trail and back. Everyone is so friendly and it’s definitely our favourite spot!
