DE72 3RW unfortunately no parking at the farm. It is a steady walk from the main road (B5010) or from Potato Pit Lane. There are plenty of footpaths to walk to the farm to see the Alpacas. There are 7 currently, 4 females and 3 males. Very friendly! A small stall by the pen sells bags of food 50p and there is a phone box selling hot drinks which are great to have on a nice walk, cash only. It is a really enjoyable and fun to see and feed the Alpacas. Well worth a visit!

We visited Hopwell Hall farm walking along the gated lane from “The Cowshed”, taking in plenty of fields, passing one farm you first come across the Alpaca Pen, with plenty of Alpaca’s from young ones to adults.

Unfortunately there wasn’t any feed to give them but we will be sure to take this walk again in the future, so there is always next time. After asking of the farm lads, they opened up the phone box so we could purchase some ice lollies, which were very refreshing on the hot day.

It is so lovely walking to see the Alpacas, unfortunately you get a couple of idiots who take advantage of the trust they put in people, it's disgusting. The only thing I would suggest is having plenty of water out for the dog's as by the time we get there they are desperate for water. Other than that, it's fabulous 👌

A lovely walk to the alpacas with the dogs and children. We carried on further to the cage but found it closed. We walked back to the alpacas and bought cold drinks. My daughter paid for several drinks with a £5 note. Its very trusting. I hope their trust is not abused. We will go again.

Nice little pit stop. Friendly Alpacas and food available to buy. Very novel self service drinks machine in a phone box. Cash only, tea, coffee, chocolate, soup and cold drinks. Fantastic idea.

What a great find while on a 12k walk in the countryside. The alpakers Were very calm in the sunshine with plenty of water around; very well looked after by the lady 😀😀👍. There was an ice-cream cart/trailer/cafe there also. I would highly recommend a visit.
