Spent a lovely long weekend here with two under fives, excellent accommodation and extraordinary level of service from the owners. Plenty to do within a short drive, or could easily just spend the day relaxing on the farm. Pizza nights are a great way to meet the hosts and other campers, the honesty shop is well stocked for the things you've forgotten, or didn't know you needed and the shower rooms and toilet facilities are top notch. All in all the best way to gently introduce kids to camping without all the bad bits and the hassle. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Sarah was a fabulous host and looked after as all. Fresh eggs out of the chicken coop each morning and a very reasonable honesty shop made it the perfect stay. The tent was not really a tent more like a canvas hotel room with a big wood burner candles and cosy beds, and wow what a view to wake up to.

We've just got home from a lovely weekend break at Cwmberach Uchaf Farm.

We had the privilege of being the first family to stay in the Shephard Hut located in a secluded corner of the farm. After the steep walk up the hillside the view was well worth it! Mark (the owner) very kindly dropped our luggage up to the hut for us on his quad bike and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

The Shephards hut slept our family of four comfortably. The log burner kept us toasty on the evenings. The bell tent next to the hut had everything we needed for our daily needs including a rocket stove, cooking utensils, table and benches, cool box, storage areas and outdoor bean bags.

There was an outdoor picnic area, BBQ and fire pit that we made good use of and this definitely added to the fun of our weekend!

It was camping, without the hassle of pitching a tent plus a few benefits: like soft, warm, comfortable beds and a free daily 'workout' walking up the hill.

We loved the horses, chickens, ducks and the friendly goat!

The toilet areas were imaculate and only a short walk away.

Mark and Sarah the owners were both really friendly and it is clear that they love their farm from all the finishing touches and attention to detail.

It was a real 'family affair' with Mark's mum and niece helping us to feel welcome as soon as we arrived.

We had the most glorious family holiday at this wonderful farm. The farm owners were so very welcoming and helpful. It's a beautiful location with lots of great things to do locally. We would recommend this to other families, couples and friend groups of any ages.

Stayed here for a week in Featherdown accommodation. Fantastic place to stay. Spectacular site up on a hill with a brilliant view of the valley. Sarah and Mark were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Shared bathrooms were really nice and spotlessly clean. Lots to do in the area, even under covid restrictions.

Just came back from a beautiful 2 nights stay in Ash lodge 2. It's the most peaceful and beautiful setting. We are a family of 4 and our two little boys had such an amazing little adventure! They loved going to the park and collecting the eggs from the chickens, and I personally fell in love with the goats! 🐐
Sarah was so lovely and really couldn't do enough for us during our stay, she really is an artist who has thought out every detail. We'll be coming back soon, but as promised to my two little men for a longer stay next time.

As first time "campers" we could not fault our stay at Cwmberach Uchaf farm. Sarah and Mark are so warm and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Mark even went to the trouble of helping us get back into our tent when a cheap padlock let us down! The safari tents are spacious, clean and cosy (once you get to grips with the wood burner) and the communal areas - showers, bath, honesty shop etc - are spotless. The showers are AMAZING. The views are stunning, the farm tour fascinating (not just for kids to feed the animals - highly recommend you go along to learn more about the farm and Sarah and Mark's plans for it) and the location is ideal for walking and exploring the Brecon Beacons. The kids ADORED being able to play and run about on the farm without us breathing down their necks, and we always felt safe and well cared for. Even our timid pup chilled out and we were worried she'd be a barky mess! Thanks for a fabulous holiday.
