Shortlands Farm

Liked: We found Shortlands farm to be ideal: the electric pitch we had was huge and the fact each pitch is surrounded by long grass made it so easy with the dogs as it was clear to them where their space was so we could give them freedom to roam around the pitch most of the time. The toilets and showers were spotless and more than adequate. The views and walking options are great. The pitches are perfectly flat and the fact it's cliff top means there was a nice breeze through the hottest part of the day. We will defintiely be back

Disliked: On the pricey side; no shop so essential to bring everything you need with you

Liked: This was a super campsite. Tidy, clean, flat field. Modern showers, sinks, toilets and washing up area. All cleaned regularly. Bins for rubbish and recycling. The location was spectacular - amazing sunsets every night. 15 minute walk to the beach (well, coming back UP took a bit longer!) Gorgeous farm fields, coastal path and fabulous beach (rocky until the tide went out and then plenty of sand). Dog friendly, child friendly. Owners were on hand to sell firewood, answer questions, etc. Very peaceful. Perfect for what we wanted.

Disliked: Can't think of anything!

Wow what a fantastic find! Brilliant campsite with enormous spaced out pitches and the most incredible sea views! Great flat soft grass for tent pitching and electric hook up too. Shower block and toilets very clean and tidy with lots of hot water. Freezer available for freezer blocks and a great washing up area. There is also electric points available should you wish to charge up your phone etc. Pleased to see the site is invested in recycling with plenty of bins available. An absolutely stunning beach about 15 minutes downhill walk away which is dog friendly. But I can’t tell you just how lovely it was to sit and look at the outstanding view with only birdsong as background noise - just perfect and what is in my view, what camping is all about. We loved every second of our stay here and without a doubt will be back. 110% recommend.

Liked: Plenty of space. Level pitch. Nice views. Well organised and well kept site. Facilities were clean and showers were good. 15 min walk to a beautiful beach.

Disliked: 3 toilets and 3 showers are not enough when the site is busy. Consider a couple of portaloos in the field for the summer?

Liked: Large pitch area with 15m spacing, lovely field with gorgeous views.
Great site, whether you want to sit and read all day, or as a base for getting out for plenty of cliff walks.

Disliked: Not to sure on the Unisex toilet and shower block, bit awkward at times, particularly
for female partner, but otherwise they were spotlessly clean.

Liked: Loved the view!!! Absolutely stunning location. We had loads of space and there was a massive clear area in the middle of the field for games or just running around. Showers and loos were great. Was lovely. Luke came out to jump start our car - both he and Kate are really friendly.

Liked: Excellent location with easy access to the coastal path and beautiful beaches. Stunning views across St Brides Bay. Mowed/unmoved areas gave the electric camping pitches a great feel of space and privacy.

Disliked: Toilets located a fair distance from the electric pitch camping field. Narrow drive into the site with overhanging brambles etc.

Liked: Lovely large pitches on site, great for privacy or indeed for a few campers meeting up.
Open fires are allowed
Facilities were spotless with plentiful hot water.
Location is perfect for a short walk to the beach or longer cliff top walks and an astonishing views.
Sunset was perfect.

Disliked: More water points would be useful
