KFC South Kensington - Gloucester Road

Do NOT order food here. The place was filthy and smelly. Tables had trash everywhere and they were all uncleaned. Their bins were overflowing and nobody bothered to clean it. The hygiene for the restaurant is really questionable and the smell was completely off. Half way through eating I already felt that the taste was weird and I had food poisoning 1-2 hrs after even just from eating some wings and chicken popcorn.

Please do not bother to eat food here or ever come in and queue.

My order was ready literally instantly, less than 60 seconds. The meal was classic, hot and well cooked. There were places to seat and the entire place is clean and conformable. Great experience.

I was disapointed both times I ate here!! The singer burger was fine, but at two different days my fries were not freshly made- they were not particulary warm and pretty dry!!! First time I got my food almost instantly. Second time I waited more than 15 minutes after having ordered. Both times it was arround nine in the evening, the place was relatively buisy, but not superbuisy. The meal was Not up to what I have come to expect from KFC.

I never have bad experience in KFC except in this store. Downstairs was smelling urine from toilets I think or the mop that they clean the place was dirty. Not sure. We have bucket that was meatless. We ask to change that bucket and they denied."It is what it is" they answered. We ordered 2 coleslaws, as you can see bellow, 1 was expired or out of fridge. I don't recommend that place. Definitely I ll eat again KFC because I love them but never on this store.

Several items that we ordered were out (still water and a dipping sauce). Since I didn't need a second dipping sauce and was only getting it for the flavor, this was an annoying waste of money. Since I can't drink drinks with artificial sweetener and personally dislike sparkling water, this was also a waste 🙄

Not even having ketchup with a ton of fries or ranch is a little strange (maybe it's British?)

Haven't been to an actual KFC in years and - based on my experience here - I doubt if I'll ever go again. Shockingly bad service - we were blatantly ignored as we waited patiently at the ordering counter, having chosen to pay in cash... yes, CASH!
After we did eventually get served, there was a ridiculously long wait before the food came, an extra side was missing, no cutlery for the coleslaw and no wipes or napkins included. Avoid at all costs would be my advice.

Standard Price and taste. Clean, Friendly staff, Free Charge for toilet.

Has the quality gone down? Service was poor trying to manage the lunchtime crowd with long waiting times and peaky cups. The chicken pieces were minuscule (photo shared) and they didn't even give a NHS discount, whereas all other KFC outlets do.
Experience wasn't good.
