Seating indoors and out. Access for pushchairs and wheelchair.
4 touch screens, on this visit, 4 ipdas in the kids section all workingon this visit.
Everything else is what you expect to see at McD.
Tables were very clean staff were cleaning them after customers had left.
All staff were pleasant and polite during the visit which seemed very busy for a Saturday morning
It was very busy for deliveries and this did seem to be the standard for McDonald's now.
Drive thru available, there are 2 disabled spaces just outside. Plenty of additional car parking spaces. 2 EV charging points are available at this site.
Give this review a thumbs up if you think it is helpful.

Good location - just off M1 & M69, not as busy as the one nearby - Fosse Park one.

Restaurant is very clean with hand sanitizer and cleaning products.

Self order machines to get orders in quickly & less human contact.

Plenty car parking spaces with disabled parking available.

Decorating is bright and fun, great for family with kids. Also iPad type of computers for children to use. Cable charging service is also available, however most of them are not working.

Staff is average and food sometimes great, sometimes is bad, had a few burnt burger buns there, but couldn’t return as already on M1!!!!!

Eat in, takeaway & drive thru available, also can order food through McDonald’s app and get delivered.

Revisited the restaurant on 1/7/2022

Noticed there some new changes; parking time restriction in place-90 mins maximum or speak with branch manager if longer time needed. Electric car charger with contactless payment method. Also click & serve parking spaces.

Food was average this time, coffee was warm, I got to exchange it to a fresh hot coffee, staff was ok. The place was very clean.

The restaurant wasn’t very busy and ordered for Click & Serve, waited over 20 minutes with no food, so went inside to collect. When we got the food it was all shoved in one bag and had been crushed, but that didn’t matter ultimately as the majority of the food was cold. Not the greatest when prices keep hiking up and you wait so long. I don’t mind waiting any amount of time for food as long as it’s fresh and nice. Won’t be returning and honestly have lost faith in McDonald’s at this point. It’s just no good anymore.

We always order to collect from parking bay, however whenever we have used this branch you can never get a space because they are all filled with the delivery drivers vehicles. When we did find a space it took about 20 mins and by then the breakfast time had finished, had to go inside myself and collect, here you will be better using the drive thru or going in to order, but we were on the way somewhere and needed to take the food with us

Got hit with a £100 fine for daring to spend too long eating. Beware that this McDonald's now has cameras to prevent people "overstaying", which they have implemented in the laziest possible faction.

I recommend dining elsewhere. I will certainly not be back, so money that I might have spent there will be spent elsewhere, and McDonald's can eat the cost of the fine themselves that way.

Fast food isn't what it used to be, and neither are the standards, especially at this Restaurant which is based in Congleton, Cheshire.

The restaurant was a complete mess, and as is becoming more and more apparent, stores seem to be prioritising their delivery services more and more at the expense of their walk-in restaurant trade, which isn't great.

We waited ages for two caramel cream topped coffees, our number having disappeared from the screen which shows if our drinks were being prepared or indeed if they were ready, but it would appear that neither were to be, and in the end we had to ask for them and the member of staff, somewhat confused, went looking for them, only to return with two drinks that had cooled significantly, minus the cream, which had vanished while the drinks had stood.

I don't really go here very often, and the appearance of the restaurant, coupled with the poor service, and not very warm drinks, would not entice me to go back in a hurry, but again, I have found that this type of service seems to very hastily becoming normal for many stores now, sadly and unfortunately.

Only been through the drive thru, got through really quickly. Really happy and cheerful, friendly staff. However when we parked up to eat our food, our burgers were stone cold. Everything else warm and seemed freshly cooked.

The worst McDonald's experience ever:

-Unclear Covid rules. The restaurant was almost empty (see the photo) and delivery drivers have much higher priority (8 drivers for 1 customer at the thme when we arrived).

- Very long waiting time. Burger was cold, Apple Pie was cold, fries were completely soft, missing cultery and salsa sauces.

-The salad was lying either on someone's clothes or on the floor.

Never ever more.
