Ordered a happy meal. Got a very unhappy meal… eventually.
Waited 35 minutes for a drive thru meal. When it arrived it was cold. Waited a further 15 minutes for the replacement which I eventually had to go in and collect.
Also there were no milkshakes, again.
No refund was offered. Nobody attempted to inform us the kitchen was so backed up. Nobody had any idea how long our food would take.
Just a terrible experience from a branch that usually manages to be just below average.

I ordered my meal in the drive through. I was given my hot drink but advised my food would be brought to me.

I parked up as requested but no food came. After thirty minutes I went in and was advised it would be ready shortly. There was a large number of people waiting for their orders

After nearly an hour I went in again along with another person who had waited for a similar period. I was initially told that I had been informed that there would be a delay of an hour when I ordered, which was totally untrue.

I was then told the food was in preparation and it eventually arrived 73 minutes after being ordered. I demanded and received a fresh hot drink.

By then there were many very frustrated and angry people waiting inside for their food.

I have previously experienced quite long delays waiting for food, but never to this extent.

I will not be back and suggest others consider carefully before going there too.

Absolute joke of a place!! Don't visit often, causes massive queues & traffic problems for the town. If you do then visit, you then told it's an hour & 20min wait for two happy meals. This branch should definately close, relocate or sack off deliveries at the very least!!

Shocking experience! Huge que’s with everyone being asked to park up and wait for food. When I said at the final window there is no parking, will you bring it to the other car park the manager rolled her eyes and went to look for a space. A MANAGER. She then returned telling me there was room. Lo and behold I come round the corner and no parking spaces and everyone blocking up the tiny front car park.
I then ask an employee delivering food to cars and I’m told it’s a health and safety issue to deliver over the road, and He proceeded to shout and throw his arm up in the air when I asked him where I should wait like it wasn’t his problem. My mistake for asking a McDonald’s employee what to do in this situation?. I also explained I have two very young babies in the car so couldn’t park up over the road and walk over. I then drive to the car park as I had no other choice. I managed to speak to a manager who offered to leave his break and get my food for me.
My whole experience was shocking with terrible customer service. You should never ever shout or behave like that towards a customer EVER! It was complete chaos. This is supposed to be a fast food restaurant and we shouldn't all have to be parking, especially when you can’t accommodate it. It’s not even like the bigger orders were having to park, every single person was asked to park up. Will not be returning and will also be writing an official complaint to the restaurant.

It took 50 minutes for the drive through to give us 4 sandwiches. I had to go in after a while and they told me that they had lost our order. But I already paid for everything. And then we ended up getting meaty ones when we paid for plant based sandwiches. I went to the dining area to queue up again so I could clear up their mistake but after 10 minutes no one showed up at the counter to help, so we left both the sandwiches and the money behind. What a terrible staff.

Last 6 months it's been terribly slow service! 20 minutes wait for a hot drink. The staff were chatting and moving slowly around. I think even the manager was chatting!! Hello! This is your working time not chilling time! This poor service is definitely down to poor management. Shame. Get new management and turn this place around please. Another thing they always get wrong, is they don't include dips!! If you ask for them they don't really know where they are!! Other mcdonald's have them near the window. Is this a money saving scam?

Utterly terrible, I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone. A 35 minute wait for a Happy Meal, the last 10 minutes of which was spent waiting while the item was showing as "Ready to collect". (It wasn't.) The staff were visibly stressed and arguing with each other rather than dealing with customers. They were producing, at best, perhaps one order every 5 minutes or so. The person in front of me said he'd been waiting 45 minutes for his order (!). This branch has completely lost the plot.
