Waited 35 minutes for a drive thru meal. When it arrived it was cold. Waited a further 15 minutes for the replacement which I eventually had to go in and collect.
Also there were no milkshakes, again.
No refund was offered. Nobody attempted to inform us the kitchen was so backed up. Nobody had any idea how long our food would take.
Just a terrible experience from a branch that usually manages to be just below average.
I parked up as requested but no food came. After thirty minutes I went in and was advised it would be ready shortly. There was a large number of people waiting for their orders
After nearly an hour I went in again along with another person who had waited for a similar period. I was initially told that I had been informed that there would be a delay of an hour when I ordered, which was totally untrue.
I was then told the food was in preparation and it eventually arrived 73 minutes after being ordered. I demanded and received a fresh hot drink.
By then there were many very frustrated and angry people waiting inside for their food.
I have previously experienced quite long delays waiting for food, but never to this extent.
I will not be back and suggest others consider carefully before going there too.
I then ask an employee delivering food to cars and I’m told it’s a health and safety issue to deliver over the road, and He proceeded to shout and throw his arm up in the air when I asked him where I should wait like it wasn’t his problem. My mistake for asking a McDonald’s employee what to do in this situation?. I also explained I have two very young babies in the car so couldn’t park up over the road and walk over. I then drive to the car park as I had no other choice. I managed to speak to a manager who offered to leave his break and get my food for me.
My whole experience was shocking with terrible customer service. You should never ever shout or behave like that towards a customer EVER! It was complete chaos. This is supposed to be a fast food restaurant and we shouldn't all have to be parking, especially when you can’t accommodate it. It’s not even like the bigger orders were having to park, every single person was asked to park up. Will not be returning and will also be writing an official complaint to the restaurant.
