Getting less and less impressed with this place. Very slow with getting orders out, we had half our order brought to us which was the burgers and had to wait 5/10 mins for the rest which by that point the other stuff was cold because everyone knows mcdonalds food goes cold quickly. Also didn't help that the air con was on full blast, it was freezing. I asked a member of staff to turn it down but nothing was ever done, I put my hood up it was that cold and a lady who was sat near us had her coat and scarf on and was chatting about how cold it is every time we go there. She also said she's given up complaining because they don't do anything. I won't be going back to this one in a hurry.

Twice ive been in with my kids in the past two weeks. Once on Sunday for breakfast at 10am for table service. Waited and waited, it was busy, after getting frustrated and speaking to two staff before the final time to find out my order was lost and they had to redo it. We ended up getting our breakfast items after two couples near us received their lunch order, which was still missing my drink.

The second time I went in with just my little boy, The drive thru was packed and I decided to go in to do takeaway order, we sat down waiting, again busy, listening every time an order was called and again nothing. So i went up after 40-50 minutes and a manager checked my order disappeared around the corner for 2 seconds and came back saying we shouted several times i will have to redo it with an disgusting tone to me, i argued back i had been sat there listening and waiting and it was never called out, she argued back they walked around with the tray too. 1 it was a takeaway order and they wouldn't walk around with it on a tray.
2, no one was walking around at any point asking if anyone if this was their order.

I would have just been ok with fixing it and getting our food we now waited just over an hour by the time we got it but her attitude to me and talking down to me when i hadn't untill she out right lied to my face and try blame me with her disgusting attitude. She needs some training or they need to find a new manager.

I would have happily sat and watched the cctv to show she was out of line and see her face drop.

I will now be going out my way to go to Langley mill McDonald's as Ripley has gone down hill, also had lots of issues with the app and a 2 hour wait for a happy meals for my kids via deliveroo app from this place just to top it off

Got myself the Bacon BBQ Stack and it was the juiciest burger I've had from McDonald's and now my favourite. Highly recommended. Service always good at this Chesterfield location too.

Stopped for a quick drive through whilst travelling. Good service, the young lad gave me a good few saches of milk for the wife's tea. Everything we ordered was there and all fresh. Good one!

Slow service, took 35 minutes to get 2 hamburgers and 20 nuggets. The new store layout is poor, only 1 till and never anyone behind it. Staff still good and friendly but too slow.

I have had some horrible experiences few month ago, food not bagged accordingly, hash broens from breakfast menu was placed on bottom and squashed by the Time they arrived. I think you should employ more adult staff or at least have someone who would overlook the situation

I am pretty sure a prerequisite for being employed at this branch is to be not overly bright, I’m sure there’s a box on the application form that must be ticked reference poor attitude, inability to read.

I realise YOLO or living your best life aren’t applicable to being employed by McDonalds but why inflict your dissatisfaction with life choices on others?

It’s basic really, you order food, you pick the order and hand it to the customer. Not the case. “Would you like any dip, just say no, you’re not getting any regardless of the answer.

I would say the last 6-7 orders have been incorrect, missing food, incorrect food, missing straws.

I ordered today, approximately £8.00 in value, happy meal, Big Mac and hamburgers. Checked it, looked correct. Could this be the day? Don’t be daft - there were cheeseburgers in hamburger wrappers when I got home.

I wouldn’t mind but you are never offered an apology.

Food good, service good, clean place.
But air conditioning on at full blast and it's 08:00 on a February morning? Why?
