Chivers Restoration Log Wood Burning Stoves South Wales

Aftercare is poor. Stove and chimney flue etc originally fitted in June 17. It took two weeks to get the fitters back as they had not levelled the wood burning stove.
It now September and after many calls and text, which all came with promises of a third visit, I'm still waiting for them to return to straighten the chimney pot that was fitted crookedly and repair guttering that was damaged by their ladders back in June.

Very pleased on how speedy they worked in preparing and installing a log burner . We wanted it done quickly before we had our wooden floors sanded so timing was crucial if we were to go ahead . So delighted that that they made time in their busy schedule .Very competitively priced ! I would recommend them. Though very messy , It was easy because our house was in a stage of renovation though I do believe they can accommodate those houses that are lived in by taking the necessary furniture/ carpet protection procedures.

Very happy with the installation of my new stove. Organised, clean and tidy job and the price was very reasonable. Carlton is very knowledgeable and was able to provide great suggestions and advice in my decision making process that I hadn’t experienced from others that quoted for the job 👍🏻

Have had my Heta45 fitted for a few months now and it has become the focalpoint for my downstairs area. Repointed brickwork and a gorgeous piece of Welsh slate really sets it above the rest. Would highly recommend Carlton and his team - friendly, professional service from start to finish

Very poor customer service given to my Grandmother.
A while ago my grandmother bought a cast iron fireplace, had quotes to then have it installed. She was told installation wasn't really suitable for her home and chimney but "not to worry as he'd buy it back from her and will pick it up next week when he has the van".
Well that would've been excellent if he showed up.
It's been nearly two years, we've called the shop. We've called the man. Myself, my mother and grandmother have all called and were told the guy who runs the stove shop is never there, so we leave messages for him and no one has ever gotten back to us. Nearly two years my nan has had the cast iron fireplace leaning against a wall in her living room, as it's too heavy for her to move and it's got nowhere else to go, waiting for this man to get back to her.
It's disgusting to treat someone like that, let alone the elderly.

Why tell someone your going to buy it back if you clearly have no intention of doing so! Could of atleast called one of us back as a courtesy call!

We're only two streets down from the shop aswell so not a far trip. They've lost us as customers now as they clearly do not care nor want our money in future purchases.

Fantastic job, very clean and tidy highly recommend
